Morning all,
Hugs to all who want them. Great to see you back Ticklemouse. Must say I agree with everyone else about Hester's lodger's lack of sense. Can you not ration time on the computer if it's not hers!!!!
Freezing here today! Ds1 gave in and put on his coat to go to school (helped by the fact that the girl next door was also wearing hers!) I took ds2 to school in my usual long skirt and loafers - came home and immediately found woolly tights, ankle boots and a cardi! No more bare legs!
Have to finish clearing out our room today - most of the stuff has gone back into ds2's room (which looks really nice) and it's mostly junk that's left - that I can only throw out when he's at school.
Am making a batch of crisprolls ATM - dh loves them but the commercial ones have hydrogenated fat in them. However I found a recipe for HM ones by Beatrice Ojakangas (as recommended by Nigella) - so I had to buy the book:D - very bad Amazon habit.
Need to prepare a "charity night" for Cubs to get them to think about some issues  , make another loaf of bread, a chicken and broccoli pasta bake, do out our bedroom (and get rid of the evidence to the dump before ds2 comes home:D ), do another pile of washing and tackle some ironing. (and deal with the French homework from hell with ds1!)
Hope everyone has a good day.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Good morning everyone. Got my anti-natal class appointments in the post today, although I won't know whether they'll be useful or not until Friday as I may find out that the baby will be born by then.
Friday is the clinic appointment and I'll know if I can go back to work, plus whether I'll need stiches. I've got my fingers crossed that I can go back, but if not I may approach the subject of working from home - my role just requires network access so I could essentially do everything from home.
Did anyone watch Bringing up Baby last night? It's inspired me to attempt my own version - perhaps Bringing up Baby Old Style? See whether bringing up my baby using old style methods is possible....I remember the thread way back on old style methods for babies, but I can't remember ever reading an old style baby 'challenge'.£4000 challenge

Morning all,
Donny gal, fingers crossed that the results will be good.
Anniebooklover, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.
Hester, I found your lastest entry in your blog terribly moving.
TM, great to see you posting again.
Scuzz, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well.
Ellie, good luck today.
Haribo, I wish that I'd known you were awake at 5.30, I'd have called you.
Pen Pen, the thought of you bouncing about the board is too much for me this morning!
It feels like I didn't get a wink of sleep last night.....I tossed and turned all night long and when I did manage to fall asleep I kept dreaming about my friend (who died in August) and her little daughter. In the dreams I was responsible for her daughter and kept messing up. The end result is that I feel dreadful this morning.
I got up as usual and have done the needful. Lunches done, kids to school, breadmaker on, general tidy and I've started some beef, potatoes and veg in the slow cooker as Wednesday night is beaver/scout night. Dd is a beaver leader, ds2 is in beavers and ds1 is in scouts. They all come home from school at different times and then go out at different times so I need to have tea organised early. Just to add to the fun, Wednesday is ds2's heavy homework night and he's really struggling with it at the moment....oh well at least I'm not working this evening!
I think I'll go and lie down for an hour with a book while I have the chance, with luck I'll dose off off for a while. Sorry for the moan.
Have a good day everyone.
Take care,

Morning each,
Isn't it cold? I might have to shut our bedroom window! It is usually open from around may but it really is becoming too cold for it now.
Monday I rushed around to the post office with DS's passport and national insurance card first thing as he forgot to take them uni. It was pouring with rain but it seemed a worthy cause. Then last night when he phoned,I asked him if he had received them , he said he hadn't been and checked yet >(
I have laundry drying on the ceiling airer in the kitchen and more to go in the machine.
Last nights tea was pizza using reduced sliced meats from asda,a left over pepper and HM bread base and it was quite good. Tonight is liver and bacon with rice and homegrown veg which means slicing up the tiny little onions that was all the garden was capable of ,onion wise this year. They were so small that I pickled 2 big jars of them which are sitting ontop of the kitchen cupboard to be eaten at xmas. I am still making enough main meals for four although there are only three of us and just freezing the extra when there is room in the freezer. At present it is mostly stuffed with chopped runner and french beans but whenever I take a container out, I note the space and fill it with something else. Good thing we have the chinese takeaway containers washed out and saved for the purpose.
Well I'm off to make a cuppa now to warm me up a bit.
bye for now

Well down the list today..... Could not be bothered to log on. The TV repair man came yesterday and after a few minutes with a soldering iron declared the TV mended. Great! Off he goes and within minutes it broke down again. So I called him back and asked him to fix it properly. They have taken it away now.... I wonder how long it will take. Last time it was 6 weeks, but I got a new TV out of it. LIDL.... I thought, made in Germany??? Nope cheap chinese TV inside. But a 3 yr guarantee. Now I could not rent one for £40 a year...
Work later, so best get in the shower.

N9eav - I have given up on services lately. I can't remember that last time I had something right first time. Actually yes I can - local veggie delivery service always get it right! But the banks, internet providers etc always muck it up!
Tesco do some decent TVs apparently.£4000 challenge
