PIP Refused...Is MR Worth It ?

O.k....Going to ring DWP in the morning, to see if they have received my MR letter....have rung twice, and they say it can take up to ten days to "get into their system".....tomorrow is day eleven, the thing is, what do I say if they have still not received it ?....I sent it "proof of post" in hindsight I should have sent it registered....anyone advice welcomed.......Jack.
I sent my PIP2 off by registered mail along with a whole wad of evidence on the 10th Feb
It was signed for the following day.
As at 2 weeks ago it still hadn't reached them and my DLA has been suspended for the past two weeks for non submission. Still waiting to hear, no doubt when my DLA money hits the bank it will mean that they have found it.0 -
Thought you had died or something!0

That's not a very nice thing to say about the poster. Or maybe you are an undercover agent employed by the DWP who is annoyed that they are still going ahead with the appeal?0

Yes. Try not to get too stressed about this whole thing. I know it's important and worrying but it does seem to have gripped you rather a lot. Unfortunately, these processes can take time and hiccups can occur. In general, though, the vast majority of paperwork gets there in the end!0 -
O.k....Rang them this morning, they have received MR letter, the chap said that my claim will be looked at again, and that this could take "2 to 3 weeks".....we shall see......Jack.Retired (Early) April 20150

No hijack intended. The poster is worried over the delays involving the DWP, I added to that my own experience to show that lengthy delays are in fact the norm for most people.
I have given up asking advice about my own problems given the comments that were posted in reply to my thread. I get on with my PIP application on my own, without recourse to outside help, make my own mistakes and try to learn from them.0 -
No offence taken.....I now know that my claim is being looked at again....I never expected anything, still don't, although a little help would have been nice....anyway this thread is way too long now, so will wait now until I get the MR decision.....Thanks to all.......Jack.Retired (Early) April 20150
