Son on way to heathrow had bag stolen with passport

Son and hubby got to passport office at 7:30am and were led in and given passport within a few minutes, should be at heathrow in 20 mins, flight is same as yesterday at midday, Esta sorted, touchwood nothing should go wrong now.
Passport office were fantastic.
Bank of mum and dad have covered the extra costs he had as we just wanted to see him happy.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

Glad everything is sorted.
Hubby actually said he is glad it wasn't a tussle on the platform for the bag.

His flight left an hour ago with him onboard!

Also glad that he got away ok in the end. On reading the account, I wondered how many others were on the tube at the time? If someone told me to get off the train with one bag and leave something else behind, I would put up some sort of fight. Did they have weapons of some kind?0

Just wondering what else was in the bag he lost... phone, bank cards etc? Anything that needs to be cancelled, or was he lucky and had those in his pockets?
