Here are the muffins straight from the oven, and then in the pretty little box I put them in for delivering to the neighbours!
Thank you!
Oh yes, they count!
#7 in the challenge goes to Bobbykins. :T:TIf you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

This is my mothers christmas cake.. hot from the oven (tea towel is covering a multitude of sins)
The carrot cakes (I tried 3) were a complete and utter unadulterated disaster.. I'm sticking with chocolate!! The hubby therefore is still cakeless!!
 Disastrous cake still counts! It's the thought and effort that's important!
Now, about that Christmas cake - did you make it or did your mum? If you made it, it counts. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

My cakeI have just taken it round to my neighbour.....he is a single dad of 5 boys....no one bakes in that house! lol
He just looked at me really puzzled and said....did i forget a birthday?? lol Then still looking really puzzled said...thanks and asked me what i wanted in return!!
Still felt great doing it!
I have to say, this one fits the idea behind my thread best of all so far. A cakeless family provided for....and one confused neighbour! I'm glad it made you feel great, too!
See LouBlue....this is how it's meant to work!

But my cake will be going to next door as they have recently had a baby boy.
Now then young panda, when's this going to happen? You can't make promises like that and then not keep them, it's bad manners you know! You'd never have got away with it in my day, let me tell you. :rolleyes:0
