Nowt wrong with a lad showing an interest in needlework, after all, he's got no one to darn his socks for 'im. I've just about given up waiting for some lass to snap him up. He's not all bad you know, and at least he can cook a bit now. I suppose I'd best stock up on plasters, coz if he does try anything with a needle he'll end up with a thumb full of holes. He'll never have the sense to use a darning mushroom and a thimble.
I must be off now, I'm late for me whist drive. :wave:0 -

Now, about that Christmas cake - did you make it or did your mum? If you made it, it counts.
The disastrous cakes were gifted to the birdies... I'm hoping they are all still alive cos I do like birdies.
And I made the christmas cake.. for my mother.. I have made another one that looks exactly the same for the lovley nail technician who makes my nails pretty.. so I've done 2!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
