    This is my mothers christmas cake.. hot from the oven (tea towel is covering a multitude of sins)

    The carrot cakes (I tried 3) were a complete and utter unadulterated disaster.. I'm sticking with chocolate!! The hubby therefore is still cakeless!!

    My cake :D I have just taken it round to my neighbour.....he is a single dad of 5 boys....no one bakes in that house! lol

    He just looked at me really puzzled and said....did i forget a birthday?? lol Then still looking really puzzled said...thanks and asked me what i wanted in return!!

    Still felt great doing it!
