I just cant justify paying more than £10/month for getting locked into a yearly contract just to have a phone line, when PAYG will do the same but with no contract.
Probably, nev er heard of a contract under a tenner a month, are you asking them to match someone? had not realised that you didn't want a phone. You could allways get a new phone and sell it, and just keep the sim!!0 -

You won't expect a contract at £5 per month from Vodafone. If you're saying you use 200 minutes and 200 texts per month that'll cost considerably more than £2.50 per week on payt.0 -
I am so confused now don't know if I want the Omnia or the Tocco.
Please Help!!!!0 -
If you want a business platform go for the Omnia
If you want a phone for a phone go for the Tocco0 -
Thank you very much.

oh my. ive gone over £15 again this month, ringing up tonight and i bet they still dont give us anything. If they dont even let me have a phone free im leaving. dragged on for a month this.
ah well, they'l be losing £60 a month but i guess they dont care.0 -
I remember when I first moved to vodafone it was my first ever contract phone and you don't think you will go over the minutes but I did and I didn't think to phone as I didn't think they helped you at all unless it was due for an upgrade.
I have got to say though every time I phoned for an upgrade I have bee a little smarter and said what I am looking for and when the upgrades department transfer you to the other department they are always more than helpful and I have always got a good deal with a good free phone.
I suppose it depends on who you get when you call. The person I spoke to last time told me to phone him when I am due for my upgrade but I can't think of his second name as he was very helpful.0 -

its the first time in about 6 years of having contract phones that ive started to go over. 500 texts used to last me but ive been using 600/700 texts lately.
We tell vodafone what we want (the basic new customer package) but they dont even give us that, and because there are 2 phones on one account then they only offer one good deal and one crap deal (i always get the crap deal because im the 2nd phone).
i just want the omnia, unlimited texts and unlimited internet and a few hundred minutes for £30-£35. not like im asking for all that on £15 a month and expecting to get it but seems others are getting infinitely better deals that are the same as i want but paying about £20 pm. which is whats annoying me.0 -

That shouldn't be the case as that is the same as me. My fiance and I are under the one contract. Right enough he doesn't use his phone that much. I got the G600 with 600minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited internet access, STC and VP for £25 per month and at that time they were trying to charge new customers £100 for that phone. When I went through to upgrades they reduced it down to £80 then they put me through to what I imagine must have been retentions and the guy there asked how much I wanted to pay for the phone and I said I didn't want to pay anything for the phone and he said ok then!!
Look around for better deals as well before phoning and see what they offer you for £25 PM and negotiate from there.
If you don't ask you don't get!0
