I have an 18 month contract with vodafone through carphonewarehouse, which expires 19/12/07. (nokia 6280)Paying £40.00/month with 16 months 1/2 price -any time 350 (350 mins talk with 350 roll over+250 texts)-I never go over the 350 mins.
Decided to ring retentions to see what they could offer. We agreed on me keeping the phone with 500 mins talk and 250 texts / month for an excellent monthly total of £17.50.
So no complaints from me0 -
Well I have got my phone today, and porting all set up for next wednesday from orange to vodafone. Disapointed cos the right soft/touch key does not seem to be working
have been told by vodafone i need to speak to 14 day returns tomorrow about organising a swap.

Hi povemeister, I was wondering if you could tell me what the cheapest I could get an N95 the new one that’s out in November for. My GF is currently on £35 per month 750mins STC but never use the minutes, I know I can get 6months half price line rental if I got a less pricey phone but would prefer that or the new Samsung G600
Thanks

Hi povemeister
I have a Vodafone 100 minutes & 50 texts from an online deal near 3 years ago - I am renewing in December and I know other operators are doing better deals. What is the best deal you know of that I can get for renewing?
With Thanks0 -
Been onto retentions and i stay on the same package.
75 anytime minutes.
Stop the clock.
100 texts.
Unused minutes rollover to the next month.
£16 a month.
K800i being delivered tomorrow.
Does this sound like a good deal???0 -
Hi there,
Can anyone help me after the frustrating call I've just had with Vodafone...?
I rang them as my upgrade is due now and I was hoping to upgrade to the k850i and stay on roughly the same tariff (200 anytime mins, 500 inclusive texts - £30)...
I was told that to get this phone on an 18month contract I would have to pay £105 for the phoneor £60odd for a 24month contract. I explained that I had seen the phone on a similar (actually slightly cheaper) tariff for new customers for FREE (on an 18mth contract) and she told me that it's because I've only been paying £30 a month for the last 6 months so I'd have to pay £105 for the phone. I have been a customer with vodafone for about 7years.
She really wouldn't budge on this £105 so I explained that I would cancel my contract and get the phone free elsewhere... and she advised me to put it in writing.
Even stranger, she told me that I got my 'old' phone in May 06 so the contract would run to Jan 08 even though it was an 18mth contract!
Can anyone help or advise?0 -
only advice i can give you is ring through and press the option for the cancellation department, do not go through to the upgrades dept. Cancellations will be able to offer more.....0

new connection on vodafone website is 200 mins - 500 txt - 12 month contract - £30 per month - k850i free - go through to retentions, they will probably match the deal on the website0 -
Further to my earlier message, Vodafone contacted me offering to improve the last offer, and now I have agreed on the following:- Keeping the same phone,500mins talk/month, 500 texts/month, STC, passport. All this for £17.50/month for the full 12 month contract.I'm pleased with the improved offer0
