However after reading this I am thinking is it worth it haha

Adding an eSim for the watch would be another £7/month, sharing the data plan.
That price might go up on April 1, haven't asked as my current deal ends on 10/04.0 -
Used mobiles.co.uk (Currys) and AffordableMobiles.co.uk for 1 year Vodafone contracts for four years now, no problems with claiming cashback.1

EDIT : Just realised that e2save = mobiles.co.uk = Carphone Warehouse = Currys.
Only difference between them may well come down to any cashback deals from Quidco/TC.0 -

Has this thread been replaced by something else?
For the first time I've not been able to get anything decent out of Vodafone when calling to ask for PAC. My previous contract was £9.79 per month and has gone up to just over £20. Best they would do was same for £16/month for 24 months. I said thanks but no thanks and plan to move, but can't at the minute as planning to apply for a mortgage in the next month or two and want to avoid a credit search.
Have they stopped doing retention deals?0 -

Have they stopped doing retention deals? If remaining with Vodafone is important, then buying via mobiles.co.uk (owned by Currys) is still pretty decent. You can also 'upgrade' an existing Vodafone service. For example,- Vodafone Red, 200GB data (unlimited minutes/texts), 12 month contract
- £8 per month after cashback by redemption (£16 before)
- There's also £10 cashback for going via Topcashback.
- Same price for new and existing vodafone customers (but accessed from different pages/links).
No idea if going via the upgrade route above results in an additional credit check - but it seems quite likely. Given the imminent timing of your mortgage, maybe just delay the phone contract until after? Or opt for payg?0 -
I think I'm going to have to try mobiles.co.uk.
I'm now out of contract, when I went on live chat last month when still in contract I was offered 40% off a new plan. Same as last time....I held off for a better deal.
Now, when I go on live chat there's 0% off. I've just phoned them, after getting the "sorry you're leaving" text (I have a PAC) and it's the same story, no discount whatsoever now that I'm out of contract!
Oddly, the app still offers the same 20% off on various plans, but what happened to the 40% (still too expensive)?
Anyone been through the mobiles.co.uk upgrade process? Does it "just work" or do you need to re-register the app, get a new SIM etc?0 -

Thanks.
I've just done this, simple process, though I had to enter my credit card details for some reason (probably their website checkout is configured for "up front" handset purchase flow).
Received a "thank you for upgrading" text from Vodafone 5 minutes later, and my new price and data allowance is showing up in the app already. I wanted to stick with Vodafone as often the rewards cover the monthly cost anyway (Costa coffee, gift cards for Morrisons/M&S etc).
The manual claiming of cashback by sending bills is a cherry on top I'll deal with later in the year once the first one is due, but this was a very smooth process all told and the way to go now that there are no deals to be had direct.
