Rang 0808 005 7313 this morning to see what was available, contract ends mid May, and got offered 15% discount so requested a pac code.
Managed to run over my iPhone this afternoon so couldn’t access the text.
Rang to request it be sent again as I had now swapped the sim to a spare phone and explained that as Vodafone weren’t offering my usual 30% discount I was leaving. The assistant said he was able to offer the discount but not on entertainment packs. So no Spotify for me.0 -
Just spent an hour on the live chat to the "super saves" team.
They seem to be less flexible than previous, only offered a 30% discount on the plan (5GB + 5GB bonus data, unlimited everything else - similer to what I'm currently on but with full-speed 5G).
They did try to offer an unlimited data plan for £17.50 but that was the terrible "5G capped at 2mbps" so useless.
So, 10GB of 5G for £10.50 24 month contract. I'm currently paying £11.38 for similar (though that was a 12 month contract with a 27 month discount and was a 40% discount on the plan at the time. Also got 2 months free - none of that this time despite asking).
Sort of the going rate, but I like Vodafone (and their VeryMe offers).

In I noticed this morning my next bill was going to be £19.43 rather than the usual £11.20.I’ve been on the last 40% off rolling 12 month SIM deal for years so knew it was coming to an end soon and has no intentions of paying £19 for 5gb data!First call offered 10gb for £15.30 or 100gb for £20 both refused and PAC code requested.Put through to the retentions team and got a manager there who after discussions offered me that 10gb for £15.30 but after discussion that went down to £12. Next bill will probably go out but will be refunded.I’ve accepted that as I’ve never had any problems with Vodafone, I like their rewards app and I get the best signal here and at work with them. I’ve never find above 5gb so don’t need say 100gb, 10gb suits me fine.(I’ve checked other companies signals here and at work and best 4g/5g it seems is Vodafone)
That is me sorted again, don’t need Spotify or any entertainment package as I already have those on discount.Definitely feel those days of 40% discount have gone. They did try to offer me phone deals but I buy my phones new/outright every few years. There’s no doubt better deals out there but this ones fine for me at the moment.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
Sealed pot challenge number 9 number 4820 -
Hi, i had a contract just before lockdown sim only 1gb for £11.26 but they give you 10gb extra so 11gb total. Best I could get at the time.0

18 month contract reduced to £8.80 with corporate discount (NHS)If it included roaming then for £8.80 I'd probably stay versus the hassle of switching network for a couple of quid's saving a month. But if it doesn't include roaming, that would be the deal breaker for me...0 -
Anybody know the new number for the retentions? We can get 100gb data for a Samsung s21 5g with £99 upfront and £29a month. The cheapest Vodafone can do is £44 though I think with 30% discount thst would be £29 but don't have the correct number anymore.0

There used to be a direct dial number to Vodafone Retentions Dept, but that doesn't seem to work now. You now seem to have to go through the normal Customer Service Route and the best they claim they can do are the offers on the website.
I've had 6 phones with them through various contracts for the past 20 years, and had some really great deals on each renewal because they all finished contract together. But now, they don't seem to be interested in my continued custom.
Anyone know any contacts details for the new Retentions Department?0
