Vodafone Retention Deals

I've had 6 phones with them through various contracts for the past 20 years, and had some really great deals on each renewal because they all finished contract together. But now, they don't seem to be interested in my continued custom.
Anyone know any contacts details for the new Retentions Department?
Wasn't offered anything at all, and I would get a big price increase when my plan ends.
Was considering O2 as the Volt deals are good value, but the issue there is that my Virgin contract is up over the summer and I have no guarantee that they will offer me another decent retention deal then (and they unsurprisingly weren't willing to either extend my deal or negotiate my extension early).
So I will likely just go with EE, their £10 per month roaming for the US will be useful for me, and they actually do have 5G coverage at home, unlike the other providers0 -
Same here ....left went to Three, they would not even match what I was offered from Three.....walked after 25 years0

Wow not just me then... Been with Vodafone for around 20 years also. Seems their discounts are rubbish until you actually
leave and then they contact you with a much better offer.
Had 3 phone contracts plus the landline and broadband, all switched out except one thats still in contract but that will switch out
later this year. Stupidly they contact me after I have left with better deals, I just say too late you had your chance.
One price increase too many pushed the monthly costs into the range where I took notice and said no thats just too much...Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Not an amazing experience for me either after getting great discounts two years and 18 months ago via chat for me and my partner respectively.
Currently pay £10.60 with 5gb + 5gb bonus data. Wanted them to match Three offer of £8 with 30gb data as a starting point for negotiations. They wouldnt offer anything at all that low and best they would offer was £14 for 15gb of data. Asked for and received my PAC so will see if I get a call next week.0 -

Vodafone cannot compete or do not want to at least. When I asked for pac code they never even contacted me.
From 3 contracts to zero contracts0 -
Six days since I asked for and received my PAC and no call from anyone at Vodafone at all. Looking like the same story as the people above.
From this Saturday I can "upgrade" to a new SIM only tariff so will see what sort of thing I can get. The Three tariff and cost is so much better but an unnecessary credit search when we'll be applying for a new mortgage within the next 6 months isn't ideal.0 -
I've just moved to plusnet and kept my iPhone 11 as Vodafone weren't in the slightest bit interested, the deals were appalling, there sim only tariffs were expensive and there 'retention' deals on a 10 year contract coming to its end were simply the website prices less a few quid. I asked straight if they could match the plusnet offer or get close and was simply told we don't price match any sim only tariffs, and they couldn't even get close so i just used by PAC. I even asked if there were any trade ins if i upgraded and was told to go to the shop lol.0

Interestingly now when I went on to retrieve my PAC on my account they were offering me some SIM only deals which appear to be for the full length of the contract, although I haven't clicked through yet to verify.
Red 5GB 50% off £7.50 per month
Red 10GB 50% off £8.50 per month
Red 120GB 30% off £14 per month
Red 120GB + Ent pack 25% off £20.25 per month1 -
I know that many people will not consider cashback deals with resellers but have just signed up for 12mth Red 100GB for (equivalent of) £6-80 /mth via Affordable Mobiles. Contract w/ Vodafone is £16/mth. Had last 12mth via them with no cashback issues.
Had to go through PITA "triangle port" to continue on Vodafone but all worked OK.0 -
