As others have found, VF have no interest in keeping loyal customers anymore. Got the PAC code for myself and the offers I was given were worse than I could get in a shop. My partner then had two offers made to her, both of the same new phone, with the second offer being a fiver a month more expensive!!
We were both happy with the deals we got 24 months ago...this time it is a joke. Not quite sure what VF need with a loyalty department anymore!

i have to say i've been with vodafone for close to 20 years now and have always found the retension deals offered to me via the very helpful vodafone forum staff to be absolutely great they have always been massively helpful in everyway.

Last August time i upgraded 2 x phone contracts which were for an Samsung S2 over 24 mths previously paying £30. \i upgradED to the new S4 and got more mins and data and texts and for a much lower price then the previous contract.

Was also offered to upgrade my husbands cheapy Samsung galaxy ace contract to a sim only deal for £8.50 for 12 mth with 1GB data, unlimited texts and 600 mins, stupidly i didn't take them up on this, I so wish I had as the deals being offered now are far worse.

I'm on a Sim only contract, it expires next month so rang yesterday for my PAC code with a view to renew my contract today when they ring me back. I said the same as what I did last year, I'm going to Three for £6.90 a month. Last year the deal I got was 800 mins, unlimited text and 750mg a month for £6. Today I was told can't give you anything less than £10 a month, you're better off going with Three. So that's what I'm going to do, bye bye Vodafone!

mmmm you've given me food for thought i already have 2 contracts with them which i renewed in Aug plus this 3rd one which i wanted go change to sim only contract plus waqs willingto take out a 4th sim only contract but am not paying more then they offered last year which was £8.50.
The vodafone person who sorted out my deals in Aug had given me an email to contact him in Feb when i was due to renew that contract I just emailed him mon night but no reply so maybe he does not even work for them anymore :0(

Thanks for the info will maybe need to go take a look around then :0(

I had a call out of the blue from Vodafone on Tuesday. I have a sim only card as deals offered last year were very poor after 15 yrs - which counts for nothing to VF now. They offered me £50 cash to stay on same SIM card but sign contract for 2 years. My current SIM card contract finishes late August. Needless to say I refused! How stupid do they think I am?

    Hello Lee,

Thanks for the response. If you mean the WRT135 route we had to do that to get one of the PAC codes! As far as "offers" we received when we called for the PAC codes are concerned, my partner was offered a new phone, with 500MB data (she had none before) at almost 100% greater cost than her current contract. As with two years ago for me, I was offered the newest version of the phone I got two years ago (HTC One then, the M8 now), with 1GB data more than my current contract allows, for almost £10pcm more!! For slightly more than that, online, I can get that same phone, with 4G AND a tablet!

I call myself loyal as I have been with the company since the early 90s!
