Seems reasonable but for some reason Vodafone seem to view the N95 in a completely different light to all other phones. You will find retentions (anyone else is complete waste of time) offering FAR better deals on only slighty cheaper handsets. Personally I'd rather have another phone (E66 or HTC Diamond) even if they were all the same price but I seem to be in a tiny minority! Good luck though...

I have been offered the new red viewty 600 mins and unlimited internet for £22pm on a 12 month deal

Retentions would not do that with the Tocco so doubt they will give you the N95 ( door stop)

Maybe it's worth persevering in light of this:

Still not sure which handset to go for with the tocco lg secret or lg viewty

mobile phone reviews says the viewty and I must admit most reviews are very possitive about it, whereas the other 2 are very hit or miss.

The Vodaphone shop did not even recommend the viewty when i asked about a phone to use internet on. They recommended the N95 or samsung soul.. Weird.
  • Just spoke to retentions, they offered me 600 mins, unlimited texts + a blackberry package (push email and 500mb web browsing) for 17.50 per month on a 12month contract, no free phone though (to be honest im more than happy with my current handset)

This sounds like a very good deal to me but ive requested my PAC code anyway just incase, as I know companys tend to offer better deals when they know you can leave at any time.

The bloke said the offer was valid for 24 hours, so my question is this:

Do I take it, or should I wait for a better deal now ive requested my PAC?

    Wait for your PAC code.
When they call get them down to a deal then say you want 24 hours to think it over. Call them back up the next day and get them down even further.
Thats what I did to get my deal.:D

I can understand their reasons for viewing it in a different light, especially considering price, but for me, it seems the best option, so let's see what comes.

Ask for your PAC number. They will ask why and you can tell them that you have seen deal X and wanted to take your number.
They will offer you a deal, but make sure you say no and keep asking for the PAC. within a few days you should be a call from the retentions team where they can offer you a better deal.

    Good luck

They didn't do that with me. When I asked for my PAC code they asked why and I told them I was getting a better deal with Virgin and gave them the details. They didn't offer anything else, nor did they phone me at a later date to offer me a better deal.
