Are their systems really that unstable or are they cherry-picking the best retentions? I know I’m on a cheap deal but surely 6 years of customer loyalty and the profit on a £20pcm contract makes it worthwhile to at least talk to me?
  • No they are probably genuinely down..i seem to get it half the time i call, whether its a retentions call or a normal customer service query.

    I know that feeling!
  • This is getting annoying now. i dont think i want to stay with Vodafone anymore even if they give me the deal i want, which i doubt they'd give me any way.
I was asked on Friday to e-mail from a vodafone representative on this board after not recieving a reply on my last e-mail. Once i e-mailed i got an automated reply telling me i would have a reply within 48 hours. Ive been checking my e-mail all weekend and today and as of yet nothing. Nothing on e-mail and nothing from a vodafone rep on this board. Once upon a time they'd be here to help nearly everyday. Now you see them here maybe once a week.

Vodafone you have lost me as a customer after 8 years. Ive given you more than enough time to respond I've been waiting since last wednesday!...GOODBYE

Someone called me... net result was they can't offer anything close to what I'm looking at from 3/Orange

    Kinda expected as much

Its weird that the webteam are slow to respond. I got a call back this afternoon from the retentions team and they offered me:
    18 months with a cheap phone (Nokia 6303 or Sony c510/W595) – 15 months at £10, last 3 months at £20; or
    12 months SIM only - 9 months at £10, last 3 months at £20
If I can get a better phone, I might be tempted…

Yeh, to the poster above...iphone deals are set in stone at vodafone.

Also, I will more than likely be ringing for my PAC code in the next few months....to terminate your contract, do you still have to put it in writing to them?

i would like to know the same too, does it have to be in writing?

with talks of iphone 4g out later on the year (i probably won't jump at it, as all new phones seem to have teething problems)

but i've heard 02 might have exclusive again in early years. maybe best move to 02 now and gain loyalty there as more people on 02 seem to be able to get better loyalty offers including the iphone

    Good Afternoon chilly9876,

Please accept my apologies that we haven't been on this thread as much, we are extremely busy at the moment.

The best way to contact us is my email which will be picked up really quickly, I was working last weekend and definitely didn't see an email from you and we have currently worked all emails.

Did you include MMM135 in the subject field? If not is it possible to email us again from the form below with the MMM135 code? This will route straight through to me and I can contact you back.

    Vodafone Contact Form.

If anybody else would like any help or advice with their upgrade please feel free to use the same form and subject code.

    All the best,
