Morning ladies! I'm still here, but just not posting ATM.

I wanted to do a Humphrey with a long straw into your glasses of wine last night, but resisted and was a good girl.

I did, however, record the delicious Tom Hardy reading the bedtime story on CBeebies yesterday tea time to [STRIKE]drool over[/STRIKE] listen to later.

Skids have gone back. Peace at last.

  • Morning All :)

Wine was muchos enjoyed last night, along with a couple of episodes of Game of Thrones. Just dropped the kids off at school and pre-school respectively. Waiting on some logs being delivered then I will get cracking with the lists. My reward to myself once I have done is to watch Call the Midwife from Sunday :)

Must do a post office and charity shop run later before school pick up. Have family coming for dinner tonight so a big pot of chilli will be made shortly.

    Have lovely days all xx

Day not started too well - DH has vivid dreams and last night was 'protecting' me by thrashing around and clonking me! So couldn't get back to sleep for ages even though he didn't wake up. Dozed off - alarm went off and the bl**dy cat started zooming around squeaking and mewing - sigh.
While I made a cuppa I SS'd the downstairs loo and tidied some kibble away. Our garden bin collection is tomorrow so I need to prune the Wisteria at the back of the house today - make sure I get my money's worth from the collections lol.
Hope everyone has a good day today

  • I really went to town with housework yesterday so only doing basics today. DH going to work at half twelve, won't be home till ten. DD comes home at half three so that gives me enough time to watch catch ups. Very easy tea tonight. She has requested cheese omelette and chips and I am having beans on toast and fruit for afters so I should be all done and cleared up by five! I love Wednesdays!

    Welcome back Raphael!

Huge congratulations Valli on Slimmer of the Week! It sounds as though your house is getting the drubbing of it's life. Glad to hear you've got your mojo back.

Shower room and bathroom sparkled yesterday, stairs finished, beds changed, dog-sitter talked through all of Kelpie's needs, packed, ready to go. Back late next week. Byyyyyyeeeeeee.
    Better is good enough.

Have vacuumed the Vallimobile and dusted the dash etc and cleaned the windows.
Was bright and sunny first thing, fog slowly rolling in from the Peaks now.
Did 2 WM overnight and TD once - the towels. The other load can wait.
Also ran DW. Washed the utensils pot that lives by the hob...looks much better (its terracotta).
LR next - anyone joining in?

    Have a great time HoneyBear

Come on guys, I know we are also doing some decluttering but what happened to Tuesday

Totally threw me when I saw this morning's list was for Thursday

Dealt with an 8 year old paperwork frog I'd been putting it off and fretting over it thinking it would be hassle until it gained cane toad size in my mind. In reality it took all of an hour to deal with an that included gathering the relevant paperwork together and a trip into next town to the branch of the building society it was held at. I have one more paperwork frog and I've started dealing with that an now just need to fill a form in and post it. Silly how things build up to monumental size in your mind isn't it.
I'm now sorting my thread stash that's been residing on the dining table for a couple of weeks awaiting being dealt with. It will all be neat and tidy by bedtime!

Hugs to all who need them.

Living room thoroughly 'bottomed', sofas moved, piece of Christmas wrapping paper found under one removed. Even cleaned out the vase with fancy twigs in. Was a warren of dust bunnies. Now marking assessments.
