Steam cleaned my sitting room carpet & put a drop of Hyacinth disinfectant in the water - room smells lovely! (It wasn't smelly before :)) Bag of ash been collected by a freegler for her chickens. Managed to get a blurb done for one of the garage items and posted on a website - fingers crossed.
Chilli out the freezer for tea & DH has taken over responsibility for microwaving the spuds and the chilli - close that's as near as I'll get to a valentine lol!
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

    Minimal flying today.
    Went to zumba.
Did a load of paperwork/emails at uni waiting for my 3pm student; at 2.45 she texted me to say she was ill....not impressed.
Came home and did more paperwork including searches as car insurance is due.
Mr N came home in despair - will MIL's flat move ever be complete? Today she had a gas bill of £177 addressed to "The Occupier" from the gas company the previous tenant used. It said it was for the last few weeks including the period when the gas supply was actually capped off! So he had to ring them and sort it out.
Also a bill from V1rg1n - with whom she had her previous phone supply, charging £28 "following your recent changes this month" - er yes - she left them. Big sigh.

We're having a tired slobby Valentines with chocs, flowers, a recorded film and some whoopsied beef medallions.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.

Have cleaned kitchen and dining room, dining room was minging. Have also cleaned bathroom (as had bucket of water out anyway) and washed car. Pegged out two loads of washing, just ironed them p,us the duvet cover and pillowcases I pegged out yesterday. WM full ready for the next load, towels, which I will probably tumble dry.

House looking much better, I have found my mojo.

  • Hi all

Minimal amount of flying done again. Had to take Dad to hospital today, I think it's nerves but he can act a bit strange with doctors and nurses, guess they are used to it but I sit there wondering what he is going to say next. Then I know that he wont remember anything they have said so I need to make sure that I understand. Plus its a 50 mile drive there and back, all very tiring but glad its done.

I really need to wash the kitchen floor but there is a bike in there on a turbo trainer - dont ask - so no point at the moment. Another day off work tomorrow so I will have a little bit of time in the morning.

DS has just brought me a glass of wine so feet up now. Raises glass to atb, anyone joining us!?
  • I'll join you with a glass, got feet up on settee with my knitting

    Night all
