Morning all. Hope that all those trying to avoid bugs/get rid of bugs are successful quickly.

Iona - my 'kids' warn me about the dangers of the internet every time I've been on a flylady meet. Not sure what you're all going to do with me.

Dizzy - hope things look up for you soon. I thought you were describing my mother (who I haven't bothered with in 5 years now).

So this morning I have sorted washing on the airer and put more on, made the bed, prepped for the workmen (who amazingly have turned up) and walked the dogs.

I am going to cross off from today's list what I did yesterday as technically it is still this week so I think it counts.

Magnificent Monday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level One...

    [STRIKE]Check fire alarms are working[/STRIKE]
Fling open that window and blow those cobwebs out!! Air the room!!! Nothing worse than a bedroom smelling of parps!
    [STRIKE]Remove and wash bed linen[/STRIKE]
    Level Two...
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
[STRIKE]30 minutes floor clearance.. that includes floordrobe and junk![/STRIKE]
    Level Three...
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE]
Sort 10 things from a wardrobe/chest of drawers that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! Likewise socks!.. and it is time those knickers you have had for 37 years were binned.. let hem go liberate yourself!!
    [STRIKE]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs...[/STRIKE]
    Extra Mission
    • 39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
    • [STRIKE]Wipe or dust over the upstairs light fittings.. don't go injuring yourself please you have the rest of the week to work through![/STRIKE]
    • Clean windows in these rooms
    • [STRIKE]Wipe down the skirting in the bedroom and on the landing[/STRIKE]
    Have a great day everyone.

Spend less now, work less later.

I'm in too but won't be cleaning windows as I always clean the insides after the window cleaner has been. Can someone tell me what a frog is.??

Frogs are the little or big jobs that you put off doing. Sometimes they only take a short time to do. eg phone calls that you don't want to make. I read somewhere if you do your worst task first then the day can only get better. Someone else may explain frogs better. X

Thank you for all the lists.

I have toothache, so take some pain killers............if it doesnot go, then I'll call the dentist, but I think it is just the cold weather.

I have made loads of phone calls this morning, but no one is answering the phone, so I'll have to try again later.

    Whole house is hoovered
    Bed done
All rubbish is out and bins cleaned
    WM is on

Back from the morning jobs, slightly annoying that we arrived at dentist 9.45 when I booked The appt I commented oh good getting it early means the day is free, got there to be told appt is 1.45 so got to go back in a bit. Everything else got done so we are having a lunch break of veggie bacon sarnis with a cuppa.

Two big bags went to the CS so got is cleared out, the broken toaster has been replaced so the non working one can go out for the scrapman, if it and the fridge aren't gone by the end of the week we'll do a tip run.

Boo for folk spreading sickness bugs, that's really not nice :(
