  • Valli Well done, mind you I was just flicking through and I thought you were sinner of the week. And its only Monday.

Atb felt your stress coming in waves, yeah these men dont get it do they?

Had to take DS1 for his driving theory test - and he passed! So what with paid stuff and my gym class nothing else been done here - again. Off to put some washing over the airer before bed. Day off tomorrow to take Dad to hospital.

    Hugs to all

I'm still marching forward this week.
Most of floors hoovered and mats beaten.
    Kitchen done including the floor.
All WU, DU and PA done. Paperwork sorted and flung or shredded as needed. Small amount left to file away.
Did four hours stand-in work for someone poorly.

T/m I shall do the bathroom and then get the spare room sorted and bed made etc. I also need to pop to the butcher for a ham and some lambs liver (DS request). I must also do some Spanish so I don't get behind. DS should be arriving about 9.00pm

Gws vibes, sticks and spoons to all needing some
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday

I love my daughter very very much but there are times, this morning is one of them that I do not like her very much. She is driving me nuts today, she will be off o school in a minute and I will flop down ,watch the news and have a cuppa.
Right WM just finished first of many loads .......
    Lots of love ..laters
  • Morning all :)

Thank you so much for your kind wishes, DS is much better this morning thankfully. Not long after I posted yesterday DH rang to apologise for being so unhelpful, so all was forgiven and forgotten. Sometimes, I really am taken by surprise by men - I know they are from Mars, and we are from Venus, but still...

Onto today. I have mounds of laundry to tackle, need to make DD a super hero costume for school tomorrow (may give in and buy one :o), and the place is just generally in need of attention. DS is home with me again though so we will see how much he actually lets me do!

YL - fab news for your DS :T
    Valli - well done :T
Big cold-be-gone vibes to Frodders and HB
Dizzy - I've been thinking of you, hoping you catch a break soon love xx

Right, time to round up the kids, I'm actually looking forward to half term next week so I don't have to rush round so much! Bet I'm eating my words by Tuesday.....

Well done on slimmer of the week Valli.
Dancemum it wasn't too expensive just 2 nhs check ups so £40 but Dh needs to go back and possibly have crown and filling so that will be a band 3 at over £200 which is a bit:eek:

Had a lovely day at my mums, walked into town did some shopping, my niece loves baking when she's at mums so got her some cake mixes and put money in her card. Had a lovely meal in local to her cafe as a treat.

going to do some stuff off the lists now

  • Well I am in my PJs, fire roaring and glass of wine in hand :o

DH surprised me by coming home from work early which was lovely. He has declared himself in charge of the children for the rest of the day, including bath and bedtime, so I am relaxing  he is away from tomorrow morning for the rest of the week so it's a nice treat to be chilling at this time of day!

I did clean the woodburner out and run a load through the WM if that counts..... oh and did a load of paid stuff too.

    have lovely evenings all xx
