Car accident with motorbike - they say I'm 100% liable

I guess I've got nothing to lose by taking it further with my insurance. Won't change the outcome no but even if I can get some of my excess back it's worth a go.
I had literally just turned he's hit my bonnet and a dent before the mirror on the side of my car.
I wish there was cctv maybe that would of helped. But I will be making a complaint to my insurance as I do find it unfair0 -
I can post photos of the damage that's not a problem. Just hope he doesn't use this forum lol !!0

If you're going to post photos*, make sure to edit them first to remove identifiable info (such as vehicle reg numbers).
* Use Photobucket or similar, then post links to photos. You'll not be able to post working links, so change http to hxxp.0 -
If you do make a complaint (which I think is unwise anyway, to be honest), please do not include that information simply gleaned from posts on social media. It's utterly irrelevant.I am making a complaint against my insurance
And I will also take it to the ombudsman as I'm not happy he has various crashes he is known to the police for having complaints about his motorbike I've managed to view his profile and he admitted to his friend he 'thrashes'it down the road we crashed on but he was coming up hill at the time of the accident
He may well have had "various crashes" and had "complaints about his motorbike", but the only evidence which will be taken into consideration will have been that pertaining to the actual accident.
Note also that the Ombudsman will not get involved with disagreements over the liability of the accident.0 -
Thank you for all your responses
I will have to take there decision how it is absolutely gutted as I thought it said in the Highway Code about overtaking near a junction or at.
My complaint with my insurance is with there decision. Had he of waited for the car in front of him I wouldn't be in this situation
Only good thing is no one is seriously injured. It could of been a lot worse. Thankfully it was not.0 -
My insurance also said they are going contact his to try and get some liability from there side. Im just worried about how much my insurance is going to go up by as I won't be able afford it probably.
Oh I'm crying again I just can't believe I'm in this mess.0 -
You can find out now the effect this is going to make to your premium by doing dummy quotes online with this fault claim in your history and reduced NCD (assuming yours is not protected)0
-
I'm going try that tonight thank you. Only thing is that I've been told they will want to know the cost of the claim, I don't know this yet as its on going. I didn't protect my no claims no unfortunately. I will in future though.0

This will be why the insurance are blaming OP
