Car accident with motorbike - they say I'm 100% liable

Hi all looking for some advise please

I had an accident in January I was turning right into a junction a car stopped and flashed me but wasn't 100% sure so I waited until they completely stopped it was dark around 6.30pm so harder to tell as I was turning a motorbike has come on to my side of the road over taking the car that stopped ( they were also turning right) hit the front of my car and he's now claiming for injury payment my insurance say I'm liable I can't take it to court nothing

He came on my side of the road and he also was over taking by a junction is there any way I can appeal this? Or anything

Absolutely gutted

Thanks

I am making a complaint against my insurance
And I will also take it to the ombudsman as I'm not happy he has various crashes he is known to the police for having complaints about his motorbike I've managed to view his profile and he admitted to his friend he 'thrashes'it down the road we crashed on but he was coming up hill at the time of the accident

    Many thanks

An oncoming driver flashed and stopped, to allow you to turn right across the front of them?
A motorbike overtook the stationary car, crossing onto your side of the road and crashed into the front of you?

The other car was also turning right, was it crossroads?

. . . or have I got this totally wrong
  • Were you stationary when the bike crashed into your car?
"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"

You're fault. You shouldn't have exited the junction.

She wasnt stationary, she was exiting a junction as they said. " as I was turning"

How was it you're side of the road ?.

If you weren't at fault your insurance wouldn't want to pay !!. Bikers are so vulnerable.

Known to police, for his bike being noisy or speeding. You viewed his profile and said he thrashes it, plenty young people say things like that and ahem older doesn't mean it's true. Various crashes which have diddly squat to do with you.

This s how accidents happen, you could have killed him.

Read the OP again "I was turning right into a junction"

" you could have killed him."
Maybe wait until the poster comes back with more information before making judgements about whether or not they could have killed some one.

No, you read it again as I was turning. All it said was turning right to both!!.. So wasn't stationary if turning. They were suppose to be stopped the other traffic had right of way. Maybe the hint was someone flashed them.

A motorbike with lights, I guess to.

    Proceed with caution.

And no, I won't wait for a poster to come back, who probably won't, I am entitled to my opinion as you, yes I see plenty silly bikers but more car drivers. I do neither drive or bike but my oh has both licenses plus hgv and my son bike only. There's to many car drivers who don't think. My oh has been a biker for 30 years plus, drivers don't see them. Yes it makes me angry, my son went over a bonnet because a driver decided to reverse out there drive at speed which they admitted.

So had right of way. Do you think insurance companies decide to pay out when not at fault nope.

...I am entitled to my opinion as you...
But for the rest of us, this isn't a discussion about wider issues - it's about understanding what happened and advising the OP. I'm a biker too [and have been knocked off], but some bikers are plonkers, just like some car drivers.

I'm trying to visualise exactly what has happened.

OP - Were you on the main road, waiting to turn into a side road?
or already on the main road, waiting to turn into the side road?
Were you stationary at the time of the collision?
A sketched map would be very helpful.

PS. If you're writing it up for the insurance company, use some punctuation! Shorter sentences are easier to read!

Mumo could you tell us the junction so we can see the google streetview.

You cannot complain to the Obudsman about the liability of the accident, it's not something they will get imvolved in

Aren't those two sentences the same?
