Email them. A paper trail is always a good idea. Explain you returned the DQ and have now got a default judgement. The court has the power to reopen a case in the interest of justice.

Mark it urgent and tell us what they say.

Spoken to the CCBC- very unhelpful. Really not sure where to go next other than CAB. Haven't got money to take it to court . Whole point is there was a ticket paid for and only 8 min late back to the car it's stupid

The cab do have specialists on court procedure (rather than advising on dealing with a PPC invoice)

So see if you can get an appointment with somebody to go through all your docs and see what went wrong

Never ignored any letters although wish we did at the start now but what's done is done

But no court letters or forms have been ignored and sent back well in time so just don't know where it has gone wrong. I thought this was all to prepare for a date at a local court to attend in front of a judge not for it all to be made outside the court as that's not fair

Did you get proofs of posting and keep copies of the forms you sent back?

Did you request the claim would be heard at your local court? (Your posts do indicate that you wanted a private audience with a judge???)

Never done this before or been in this situation . I thought things like this went to court or do they not and decisions are all made outside actually attending court ?

We have the questionnaire they sent back and it's dated 29 June. We had the 2nd questionnaire sent and we recieved that on the 23rd June completed that and sent back next day. As for the first lot of paperwork I have no clue why they mislaid that if they got the second paperwork. Only difference is the second lot got sent back via recorded delivery.

Like I said email the court and ask what happened. If it was sent by signed for delivery then the court got it. Point that out to them, they may just reopen it as it appears they have stuffed up.

Go on the royal mail track and trace website.

Input the ref number from the receipt you got from the post office.

You will see when it was delivered and who signed for it.

Then contact the court with that info. and get them to look in the file and investigate

    Update

Emailed court and no reply back, contacted CAB they said to contact IAS. Emailed them as no phone number to speak to anyone, their reply if I feel they have breached the IPC code of practice the go back on their website.

Today RK had another letter from Gladstones saying if don't pay the £256 then they will issue a CCJ thus has got RK really upset .

Just emailed another solicitors to see what they can do to help and spoken to my MP .

    Pure nightmare !!!!
