  • Good Afternoon

Hugs for everyone who'd like one.

No OS today, been to Toddler Group with DD, I meet my mum there as she used to go before retiring from childminding, she now goes for the gossip.

Had hm quiche and salad for lunch.

DD fast asleep, no nap this morning so worn out, despite next door neighbour revving the engine on a moped that he's doing up .

Having a BBQ pork loin chop and chips for tea, DH at work until 10pm so something simple.

DH was promoted at work for the summer, found out today that it's being made permanent :j.

I think I may have a nap myself this afternoon, DD woke me at 5.30am for food and again at 7.30am.

OH took my car for it's MOT 6 hours ago. He is still not back. Where the bl00dy hell is he?????? AAARGH. He has conveniently forgotten his phone so I have no way of contacting him. Has he been in a a car crash, has he been to see his ex - I just dont know :mad

So, I'm trying to keep myself busy and stop myself going out of my mind. It's
not working very well. Might do some baking or something

    Have a good one

Then you need to be here. None for that rotten ole OH though. ;)
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
  • Hi Guys!

I did start a reply earlier but didnt have the energy, so will start again!

Still feel like sh*t and feeling quite depressed today, so have either been asleep or chatting to OH (he must be sick of me:o ) to keep busy or to rest. Have the funeral tomorrow and wedding Saturday, between that I have 3 hospital appointments and 2 nurse visits:eek:

OH today has built the radiator cover for the lounge (we've had it for 4 months, but not got round to doing it), fixed the curtain track in the lounge, fixed the stair banister (it kept falling out) and cleaned the inside lounge windows. He is keeping busy too. I am abit worried about him actually as I caught him being sick earlier but I think its all the stress. I think I am going to ask for more help from the council with my personal care, so that OH can have more of a break from me.

Anway, thats it from me ATM.

    Hugs to all.

Hey - my car passed it's MOT! Hope yours did, too, Blairweech! Of course, DH did his usual of telling me it had failed badly and would cost a fortune to get through. One day, I won't fall for it!

    Hi All

<<hugs>> to you if you need one or would like one.

Just in out of the rain, we've been fencing. The bottom of our garden backs on to what used to be a ditch separating us from the local recreation ground. We only had a three foot chainlink fence. Some years ago the council filled the ditch in, and recently we've started to get a lot of people noseying at the bottom of the garden.

We debated about putting up a proper fence, but didn't want to really because (a) it would cast long shadows block out quite a lot of light to that part of the garden, and (b) it would encourage the local youth to sit the other side and do whatever it is they do.

In Spring we put up some willow screening, which worked really really well. However, you can still see through it quite well if you are close, and as we are getting an orange Omlet Cube in spring, I didn't like the fact that it would be so visible. So we decided to put some black weed control fabric along the inside of the screening, and then put up a second lot of willow screen to make a kind of matting sandwich. That's what we've spent today doing, and it's worked absolutely brilliantly! We haven't finished though, rain stopped play.

I just love it when my DH and I are working in the garden at the same time. Not necessarily on the same thing ('cos that usually ends in arguments, face pulling, and/or occasionally tears) but just being out there together doing stuff.

Dinner tonight will be hm Steak & Kidley pud for DH. I made two last time and froze one; according to Delia's Big Freeze i can steam it from frozen! Hope that works, as it's so easy to make two at once. I'll be having butternut squash soup. Had to buy the butternuts, our crop failed miserably this year.

Had my final Arasys session today, and I'm really pleased with the results. Wish I could afford to do regular top ups. I lost 0.5 inch off each arm, 3.5 inches from my waist, 1 inch from my hips and 3 inches from my abdomen. I didn't have anything done on my bottom or legs. Wento the gym immediately afterwards too, must keep the momentum up.

    Have a good evening xxxx
