Morning all,
Beautiful day her on the south coast, bright and sunny but windy, perfect for the two lots of washing I put out, did not have any yesterday, where does it all come from
I had an early night last night, but OH came up at 10.30, with my Ddog in his arms, he had been sitting in conservatory having a drink, when little dog went mad barking at something behind the sofa, he pulled it out and lo and behold it was a tiny frog, now I have got a HUGE phobia about frogs, cant stand the way they jump, OH takes the p**s out of me and says they are harmless, any way he shut the dog in the bedroom with me so she did not try to eat frog, and went down to 'tackle' the frog, DD and I were watching from the safety of the bedroom, he had a torch in one hand, and a 6ft broom in the other, and was trying to sweep frog out on the door, (by this point I was convulsed with laughter) frog then decided he did not like being swept up and did a big frog jump towards OH, who dropped his broom, screamed like a girl and ran out of the way, My tummy was hurting by know as I was laughing soooooo much, god knows what the neighbours thought,DD then went down to help him, and frog did a jump at her as well, so she ran back in screaming.
I can't remember the last time I laughed so much, it was seeing big burley OH with the broom that really got me :rotfl: :rotfl: my dad just picks then up with his hands.
Any way hoovered through, cleaned kitchen and bathrom, bedrooms and lounge, popped to Mr T this morning for tinned toms, and some onion.
Got to go out and try and get a new ariel for the TV this morning, the picture has been bad for a while now, but could not see anything last night, just listened to eastenders, I am quite glad nothing too exciting happened
Csarina, and all those not sleeping hope it improves for you.
Mrs Flitersnoop DS happy B'day
Scuzz, hugs and take it easy x
Mioliere don't you just love them
Mrs Mcawber, you ARE wonderwoman.
Pink, I know what you mean about chucking things, but just do it, it will only clutter otherwise, and you will end up having to do a huge clear out later on. Be Brave xx
Tired mum, good luck with lumpy, let us know how you get on.

Morning :hello:
Busy morning so far and I've managed to do loads. Making up for last night when I started blitzing the living room, sat down to drink a cup of coffee halfway through and woke up 3 and a half hours later.
So I've finished that job today and cleaned the kitchen thoroughly. I repainted the kitchen dresser yesterday and gave the bedroom woodwork a second coat, but no more painting today.
Tea tonight is a hotchpotch from the freezer as it's full of one and two portion meals which are taking up too much room.
Loads of washing on the line too as it's blowing a hooley so it should dry quickly. Postponed the ironing last night too so must crack on with that.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR BE!!!!:bdaycake:
Pink.....throw it in the bin.........now!!! Your loft is going to need reinforced otherwise.

Hi all.
TIRED MUM - Good luck at the doctor's. Will be thinking of you.
CSARINA - think I'll look into Seditol - I need to try something because I take ages getting to sleep, then I wake in the wee small hours and end up getting up for half-an-hour, because it makes it worse just lying in bed not sleeping, then all my intentions at getting up early to grab some 'me' time go out of the window. By the end of the day, I end up with that horrible feeling of wishing I'd achieved more. I am also at my productive best in the mornings so all that energy is being wasted! Anyway, I'll give the Seditol a go, especially as it's herbal. I don't want anything on prescription.
DH has just taken my car down for it's MOT so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Could do without the extra expense and hassle if it fails. His car is automatic (mine's a manual) and it's a massive 4x4. I've only driven it once and, although my car is quite big, I don't think I'd ever be able to park his. I need a lot of space around me when I park because I can't see all the 'corners' of the car!
He has also fixed my washing line. I had asked him about five times and gave up on him, so I made sure he found me trying to fix it myself standing on a chair! Washing drying nicely now.
KYLE - you must be getting so excited now about your trip! I'm sure it will be fantastic.
Happy Birthday to Mr BE.
For all those with frog-phobia (and I know AMIE is one!) - just as DH was locking the front door last night, a huge one jumped into the porch; I couldn't believe it when he said 'can you get this frog out of the porch?' He couldn't bring himself to touch it. I don't think he knew he was scared of them till he was faced with one just inches from his bare feet! Anyway, I had to lock myself into the porch because I didn't want the frog hopping all round the house, but I did manage to get it out and it even looked back at me as if to thank me. Within half an hour, DH had had to rescue me from a huge spider in the bath! We have had loads (well, about three but that's loads to me) lately; I even bought a load of conkers back from France because the French put them in the corners of all their rooms to keep the spiders out. I hadn't bothered putting them out but every corner now has a conker in it! The French also have a horrible insect called an 'eyelash' because, when it's still, it looks like a false eyelash but, when it moves, it lifts itself up on hundreds of little legs and scuttles off. I think it must be a kind of centipede or millipede but it's absolutely disgusting to look at. It's even got whiskers. Fortunately, DH doesn't mind getting rid of them.
Well, I suppose I must get on with clearing up the spare room. I've decided to put an old unused table in it for making cards and wrapping up presents. It means I can keep the door shut on it when I'm wrapping Christmas presents up and so on, and not have to keep clearing the dining table up when we need it for eating on. Also, if the grandchildren find all my wrapping up stuff, they end up taking half of it home. DIL said that last year they didn't have to buy many Christmas bows because the children had bought loads back after visiting me! So, it's cheaper to keep it all hidden away from them.
Well, off to do something useful so will call in later.
Hope everyone is enjoying their day.
