Just to clarify (though im actually in the process of double checking this). Barclaycard is withdrawing the marketing of the 0% for life £50 spend offer, but not the offer itself.
However one thing is for sure - it WON'T be reinstating the £1 min spend.
Having said all that the Capital One 3.9% card i write abou tin my balance transfer article is a corker!Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Re BC 0% £1 min payment. BC are still honouring the offer on the original form. (if u can find one)
I got my card 2 weeks ago and a friend got theirs last week.I save so I can spend.0 -
I currently spend just £1 per month on my credit card. Each month my interest goes up by £0.01. Just got my sixth barclaycard statement. Instead of the interest being £0.05 they charged me £0.50 also stating that next months interest would be £0.50.
Rang and queried it and they are going to credit it and raise it as a query on their system.
Just thought I'd let everyone know so that they can check their statements. I know its only a small amount but having just nearly getting done in Sainsburys on a 3 for 2 christmas card offer I'm on a role. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I thought we were just lucky to be getting these low interest charges of 4 and 5p considering on the T &C's they said minimum interest charge would be 50p. Surely you are only quering something you have already agreed to being charged to when you signed the application form?Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow tonight,
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
Please please please please please, does anyone have a spare 0% £1 spend form, my husband told me he had signed me up, but when the form came it was the £50 spend. I really could do with a form if anyone has one floating around somewhere. I am willing to pay postage.
Thanks in advance. Debs0 -
