Am feeling really low today
Puppy was naughty on her walk at 6am and ripped my blouse. It was only an old one but really annoyed at her. Once she calmed down we walked home and I fed her and put her back to bed
I need to find money for petrol to visit DF next month, £40 for hair cut, as well as 4 new tyres for my car and if I want to treat myself £20 for the facial / massage.
DS came home early last night and has been unwell all night and still being sick now. I defrosted a whole spicy chicken from freezer last night so I will have to cook it today and maybe refreeze for wraps or salad another time
I need to work out my budget for August and see where I am. I have some money in the bills account for tyres. I should have so much more saved by now but got into debt when Dm passed and DF nearly died of sepsis so I guess these things happen. There is nothing I can do about it now so am trying to be positive and not put more on the credit card. I was hoping my tyres would last till next mot in December but have accidentally driven over some tar which won't come off. I have contacted the council but they want report from insurers and I wasn't planning on telling them and putting up my premium for an "incident". I can understand you feeling low. You have been through so much recently. I hope DS is feeling better v soon. There are many bugs going round - I blame the heat.
Yikes to the tire bill. Can you take some money out of some other funds? I am just doing some tidying up and then I will garden later. If I have the energy as I feel a bit tired.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Ok so I have £20 entertainment budget for august for facial / massage at friends pamper day. I have a bottle of strawberry lambrini in the fridge from last time to take with me, so no further outlay.
I have £80 for petrol which I am hoping will cover 2 weeks at work in august and travel to DF & home again.
I have £40 for my hair cut and coloured & foils & blow dry.
And I have £30 for spending at DF's. This should be enough as we are going out for a meal for DNiece birthday and I am only there for 5 days 2 of which will be travelling there and back again.
I have found some tyres online for £47.99 each actually sold by Asda with a good rating, so £191.96 total fitted etc which can come out of the bills/emergency fund budgeted at £100 a month and £100 out of the current savings will leave me £100 in the savings / emergency fund.
Blimey its a bit tight but hopefully will all work out !0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Really well done on sorting it all out. It is so hot by me. I was supposed to mow the grass but have given up. lol.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

My lawn is dry and crispy :rotfl: so no mowing needed here :j
I am sure it will spring back to life once we eventually have some rain but I suppose I am saving electric not having to mow it
I sewed my blouse today and as the front has an embroidery on it you can hardly see the mend from naughty puppy tearing it
I cooked the chicken and had some for my dinner and froze the rest. DS moaned he was seriously ill when I said he had to wait for a cup of teaand he promptly threw it back up anyway ! Hope I don't get his lurgy

I phoned my home insurer today and I have qualified for the £50 cashback for my policy taken out on 1 May so I should have a cheque sent to me on 1 August :j
I will try not to spend it but its good to know I will have some extra cash if I need it for August. I paid my insurance annual premium out of the bills savings so it will either go back in the bills account or I will pay it off my credit card if I manage not to spend it !0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hope you are ok with the weather. It is v hot. :Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

I am struggling with the heat. However it clouded over around 3pm with a cool breeze so I took the puppy for a 30 minute walk. Then we both had a snooze and when I woke up it was full sun again and hot, hot, hot !
DS bought us a KFC which was yum and saved me cooking. He is feeling better after his norovirus.
The pet insurance has paid out for puppy treatment :T so I have paid another £100 onto the credit card. Once the payment has gone through I will update my signature. I think I will feel happier once the amount is under £1000, I think its just a psychological thing it seems better to be three figures rather than 4 :rotfl: I have kept some of the money in my current account just to provide a buffer until payday just in case so I don't go overdrawn, then I will pay anything else left over onto the credit card too.
Shopping today at aldi was £24 20 which included quite a lot of meat and salad. I will need to get a few other bits before the weekend to last until payday on Tuesday such as milk, possibly more salad, yoghurts etc.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Today I took a sandwich to work for mid-morning when I am starving, so I didn't buy one in the canteen. :T The cost of the occasional sandwich and chocolate bar is adding up. (around £2.60 some days)
I was up at 5am and after showering, hair wash and walking the dog, sometimes also loading the dishwasher and emptying the kitchen bin, there isn't much time for breakfast as I start work at 6.30. I don't feel that hungry before leaving for work at 6.15am but I have been making myself eat a weetbix (aldi version) & milk before I leave. I'm always starving by about 10am though0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
