OMG well done you and puppy! The bill isn't so good though.
The weather is glorious here. I am going to try to mow the grass in stages.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Payday yesterday :j Have checked online banking and paid the balance off my old credit card which I used to buy DS's birthday present online. I've used funds from the birthday account to pay it off, so now I just have my 0% credit card to clear.
I bought some new slippers yesterday from asda £5 for hospital next week. It says on the info sheet you have to wear close fitting slippers, I don't wear them in summer just flip flops so if they don't make me wear the slippers I will take them back for a refund. I've tried phoning the hospital on the number they provided for enquiries but no one gets back to me, I wanted to ask what to do about my medication & the slippers.
Plans for today, lots of washing - work clothes, towels, bedding. Hoover puppy room & tiled kitchen floor, mop kitchen floor
Scrub patio with disinfectant
Its going to be a scorcher again today. DS has just come in from night shift and gone to bed. I took puppy to the park as it was nice and cool at 7am and she's had a run around after her ball. It will be too hot on the pavement for her paws to walk her again until this evening. We've left the paddling pool out on the patio so she can jump in whenever she feels like it later. If she wants to go outside I will spray the patio with water from the hose to try and keep it cool for her. Most of the time she lies in the shade on the kitchen tiles with the fan on and chomps on ice cubes0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

It's good that you are prepping for hospital but what a shame that no one has got back to you.
It sounds like you were v busy today and the weather was fab. Puppy is v lucky she can just lie down and chomp ice cubes and you do all the work!:(Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hospital treatment now over and I didn't need the new slippers so they will be returned to asda for £5 refund
Had a lovely Chinese last night paid for out of my birthday money & a friend is taking me out to lunch today :j
Still feel a bit groggy not allowed to do anything for 24 hours so will have a snooze and walk puppy later. They have forecast showers today so hope its a bit cooler !0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I'm glad to hear your treatment's been done! Sounds like a good excuse to pamper yourself and have a well deserved break.0

Am glad its Friday ! I went back to work yesterday and the heat is just zapping my energy. I couldn't walk puppy until 7.30pm last night and its looking like being the same tonight.
I called in aldi on the way home from work and picked up some salad and fruit for the weekend and a pizza for tonight to stop me getting a takeaway.
The curtains in DS bedroom have fallen down as some of the hooks have become brittle over the years and snapped. I was expecting to have to buy some but after a good rummage in my bits and bobs drawer I have found a bag of replacement ones. Just need to wait for it to cool down and then I can get up on the ladders and replace them.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hope you've cooled down now Skinty, it's getting harder and harder for most of us to cope with the heat....but it's the weekend and we can chill out, even if we're boiling hot!!0
