She more comfortable now she's had painkillers and have got her to eat some antibiotics so hopefully they will start working soon.

Have just been working out my budget for June and keep thinking I have forgotten something. I was paying £100 into savings. I am undecided whether to pay £100 a month to the 0% credit card and anything else left can go into an emergency fund or pay £50 on the credit card and the rest to emergency fund. The 0% card for balance transfers is 25 months but I don't want it hanging over my head for that long. Purchases are not 0% so probably a good idea to build up my emergency fund again.

Finally payday yesterday ! I seem to have slept through the worldwide visa problems last night lol.

Now we are in June the rest of the year so far has been a blur, but I really need to get back on track with my savings, so I will

-Record all receipts in my notebook to keep track of spending
    -Not spend on credit card
    -keep to entertainment budget £50.

Last night I had dinner from freezer rather than the usual payday takeaway. Then I fell asleep on the sofa and woke around 11.30 so just went to bed.

Today I am going to local car boot with a friend weather permitting, starts at 12. Then we are going for lunch at the local pub they do 2 for £8.95 so should be under £10 with a drink and we can walk there and back. Will record spends from entertainment budget later.

Today I also need to phone my new credit card company and update them on the balance on my old card now that the vet fees have been added. Then the whole lot can be transferred to the new 0% balance transfer card.

I have checked online banking this morning and moved money from the birthdays/xmas fund to cover cards and stamps bought to send to my friend and her mum and sisters. Still waiting for a date for her dads funeral so I can see whether I will be travelling up.

I worked 2 extra hours yesterday to make up some of the 3 hours I had off on Thursday to take the puppy to the vets. Then I had a doctors appointment and have now been referred to hospital to have my stomach scoped to see why I am still having so much pain in my throat and problems with my voice. I've lost count of how many months/years this has been going on now !

It was puppys birthday yesterday. I cant believe shes a year old already ! I suppose she is a dog now lol. I bought her a toy reduced to £8.95 it seems fairly indestructible so far !

Had a lovely time yesterday. Didn't spend any money at car boot it was mostly junk ! Had a nice lunch in the pub and paid for my friend too as it was her birthday 2 meals and 2 drinks £14.95 so it was a cheap treat. :D paid for from entertainment budget.

I phoned sainsburys and added vet bills to balance transfer for 0%.

Today is meant to get very hot so I have walked puppy at 5.30 she has now been fed and is snoozing so I am back in bed. Plans for today

    1. Wash work clothes and towels.
    2. All food from stores. Bacon & scrambled egg for breakfast, tuna & sweetcorn pasta mayo for lunch & chicken fajitas for dinner.
    3. Put christmas decorations in loft :o all packed away put haven't got round to putting them away.

Have checked online banking and updated notebook with yesterday's spends. Now I am going to snooze for a few hours ;)

Puppy managed to pull a piece of wood (dado rail) off the kitchen wall last night and chew it, the little minx :( I don't think she has eaten any thankfully, most of the remains were on the carpet this morning but she did look at me all innocent as if to say "it wasn't me" :rotfl:

I did a big shop at Aldi this afternoon £53.88 including lots of meat for DS, cleaning products and toilet rolls/kitchen rolls/tin foil. As DS pays for the meat and his share of the other stuff I am not too worried about cutting the food budget.

I seem to be hungry all the time ! Bought a sandwich and crisps at work £3. Have just taken puppy to vets for check up after water infection last week, thankfully no cost today. Then went through McD drive-thru £4.85. :o and just had an ice-cream from freezer.

I am meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow and I need to get a birthday card for DS. He is having cash which I have saved in birthdays / Xmas account.

Glad puppy is better. It's ok to have food as a treat especially when you are hungry. You have been through so much. Everyone at work is tired. I came home and slept for a bit. I wonder if it's caused by the warm weather?

Hurrah to a nice lunch tomorrow.

All this talk of roast dinners made me fancy one too :D took my friend to Toby carvery for lunch today for her birthday, 2 refillable Pepsi max and 2 childrens desserts (smaller for dieters and cheaper for MSE'ers ;) £20.15.

Wandered round shops after. Got DS 2 lynx body sprays on offer for his birthday

Took puppy for a walk when I got back was so stuffed :p and found a fiver on the floor on the way home :T
