The cancellation fee with this company is a minimum of £50 plus more depending on how much work they have done. They will probably charge me for sending emails & phone calls eg to sellers estate agent 🙁 so I wouldn’t know the exact amount until I decided to cancel. I may contact some others later today

I went out with my friend (who has no dogs) last night and had a drink & then an Indian meal at a local restaurant. Food was excellent & had a good evening. Cost £16 each. Friend insisted on paying for the drinks at the pub. It will be my round next time.

    Plans this morning -
    walk the dog
    collect meds
put petrol in the car, £20 should be enough for 2 return journeys to the office next week and 3 the week after.
    I am working this afternoon

Meal and catch up is good, as does your shopping.

Try and rest up this weekend and I'll do likewise.

It’s a lovely sunny morning. I’ve fed the dog and got a cup of tea and am going to get a bit more sleep. Plans for today

    walk the dog
wipe down/ hose off dog slobber from patio doors
hose over the patio & disinfect with some zo flora.
Wash towels & hang out on line
    do some shredding
    Make chilli in slow cooker

I have so far sorted 3 outfits to wear into the office. There is no dress code but I like to wear something different to the office than what I normally wear so I can change clothes when I get home & relax after work. I hang around at home in my “scruffs” comfortable worn clothes that it doesn’t matter if they get covered in dog hair or dog slobber 😆 I also have different clothes for going out with friends. However a lot of stuff in my wardrobe has not been worn since long before lockdown and I need to clear it out. I don’t have loads of clothes, but the ones I do wear don’t fit in the wardrobe

That should be enough of a list for today and Sunday! The rest of the time will be relaxing. Hopefully a no-spend weekend.

    ✅walk the dog
    - wipe down/ hose off dog slobber from patio doors
hose over the patio & disinfect with some zo flora.
✅Wash towels & hang out on line
    - do some shredding
    ✅Make chilli in slow cooker

Had a lovely dog walk yesterday morning. Bumped into my friend with 2dogs and had a good chat.

Made a chilli in the slow cooker with mince beef, peppers, courgettes, onions, tin tomatoes, baked beans and kidney beans. Ate one portion and 4 portions into plastic tubs & frozen.

I sorted 2 carrier bags of clothes for the charity shop and one bag of broken “stuff” for the bin.

Towels dried on the line and DS’s gf did 2 more loads which also dried. They sort out their own washing. I will wash my bedding this morning. The forecast is for nice sunny weather all week getting warmer up to 28 degrees which is a bit scorchio for me. ☀️ The dog has her 2 cool mats out already, one downstairs in the kitchen and one upstairs.

Did lots of sitting around with foot up resting 😆 Today I will walk the dog later and finish my other jobs on the list, plus wash bedding.

You've done well, hope the catch up was beneficial.

28° is very warm, get a good breeze circulation going round the house and some ice on the go for soft drinks.

  • Have walked the dog this morning in the sun. Bedding has been washed and hung out. Just waiting for the duvet to finish spinning so I can hang that out too. It’s only a thin duvet and my machine is a 8kg so it fits in ok.

I have been sorting some stuff out in the kitchen ready for packing. I’ve ordered a shop to be delivered at 11.45 including bacon as I really fancy a bacon sarni 😋

Bacon sarni was lovely yesterday 😋 Spent most of the day pottering. Sorted a box of paperwork. Bedding and duvet all line dried. Lovely fresh sheets on my bed. I gave the patio doors a quick wash down.

I’m going to steadily go through my stuff over the next few weeks while I am waiting for my survey on the new place, so that I only take what I need & want. I will try to be ruthless 😆

I have just fed the dog and am back in bed with a cuppa. Hopefully I will get a bit more sleep, then walk the dog, then working from home today.

I need to get more fruit later today to take into the office over the next few days & I need to get and post a Father’s Day card so it will not be a NSD today.

The more ruthless you are, the cheaper it will be to move with just one van and a few car trips with lighter / personal items.

    Bacon's is good!

    Hope your day goes well.
