Had my hair cut today. My hairdresser gave me a hug bless her. Then I finished the legal forms & picked up my friend who came with me so I could hand them in and complete my id checks. Also made first payment of £90. Feels like a weight off my mind.

We did go to lunch in a quiet local pub. Felt a bit uncomfortable but enjoyed getting out. Total cost £18 for 2 meals & 2 drinks so £9 each.

Put £10 petrol in the car as the petrol light came on. Also got milk, bacon & kit cats £4.40 for over the weekend. I already have bread rolls in the freezer so it will be bacon roll for breakfast 😋

If the weather is nice tomorrow I will do a bit of gardening & cut the grass. Will wash towels & bedding.

It was a lovely sunny day yesterday. Got towels washed and line dried. Also managed to cut the grass.

There was a flash of lightening and a long low rumble of thunder about 4am and it has been raining since. Puppy dog is back from a weekend away with DS & his gf. They are both working today. Have just fed her & will walk her later. Hopefully the rain will have stopped by then.

My anxiety is ramping up again as my sick note runs out today and the thought of going back to work on Monday & whether the dr will give me another one. My brain hurts when I think about work & I feel sick 😵‍💫🤯 I hope he will sign me off for at least another week.

Today I will make a beef curry in the slow cooker. I will add onion, peppers, broccoli & chickpeas to bulk it out. Should be a couple of portions to go in the freezer.

Generally they'll give a month in total before looking at other options to assist recovery eg meds, counselling etc, so I think you'll be fine. It's not as if you've asked on a regular basis and that's also taken on board.

Buying / selling property is the second highest stresser, let alone the amount of / complex work you do over shorter hours. It's understandable everything is too much.

Talk to PD. She'll offer understanding ears, without offering suggestions and in return you'll get a wagging tail and cuddles. Get it off your chest.

    You will get through this.

Thanks MF. Puppy dog has been snoring all morning since we got back from our morning walk 😆 It was sunny and warm but has been grey & raining since we got back.

I have just had a text from the GP … yes on a Sunday! It surprised me too !! They have found something on my blood test that could explain everything so I have to go for more blood test investigations. I have booked an appointment online for next week. I will still need to ring in the morning to speak to Dr about the meds and ask for a sick note and I will need to phone work.

Animal therapy makes a world of difference.

Cor blimey. At least it's a starting point and I'm sure you'll get a new FN tomorrow.

Have been totally stressed out by my GP practice today 😕 I phoned at 8am & had to ring 3 more times to finally speak to someone (by this time I was in tears 😭), who could actually help, at 1.30pm. They have agreed a couple more weeks off sick and will arrange for a sick note. It hasn’t come through on my phone yet.

DS’s bills money has come through but he has not added the extra £10 I asked for towards the electric/ gas now we are out of the fixed rate. Why does everything have to be such a struggle at the moment.

I hope you're a little more settled, please have a brew and sit down for a bit.

Send DS a text or pin a note to their bedroom door reminding him. Always seems these silly little things happen when the stress is high, he would have just forgotten.
