My condolences, You'll find ways to support and help her at this very difficult time.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3

Thanks MF but he was her ex for a reason. Not wanting to speak ill of the dead but she is torn between relief at not needing to get a restraining order and sad that he’s died. Anyway, I tried to support her as much as possible.Walked the dog before work. Beef curry in slow cooker. Had a walk to the post box after work & posted a card to my friend up north. Card was bought before Christmas & stamp left over from Christmas so already accounted for spend.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Your savings are increasing nicely and overall budgets are good.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2

Is your food budget for 1 or 2 people? I’m clearly over spending on food. The dog food seems much cheaper too but then I feed mine raw. I do give them 1/3rd porridge to cut the cost and they like it. My pet insurance is the killer though. Your budget looks really well organised.2

My grocery budget is £30 a week
just for me and includes food, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, clothes washing liquid, bin bags, foil, cling film, bath cleaning spray, bleach etc.
I don’t buy many toiletries. I asked for shower gel & body lotion for Christmas presents so I have a supply of that. I buy Morris sons hair spray 85p and hair mousse 99p. Nivea face cream in a tube £1.25 used to be in £ land but I think I got the last one in b&m and I bought a couple which should last several months. Dove stick deodorant was £1. Toothpaste also £1. I don’t wear makeup so I suppose that saves quite a bit. Shaving gel and disposable razors are usually cheap from £ shop or b&m and my legs usually only get done in the spring/ summer when legs are out of jeans and more on show, seeing as there is only me I get no complaints about hairy legs 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I’m the same I don’t wear makeup but I have super sensitive skin so do buy a more expensive moisturiser otherwise I get an allergic reaction or my skin breaks out. I also only shave when my legs even annoy me 😂3

So… latest update … DS & his gf might be buying my house. 🤗
Will be selling at market value minus a bit for stuff that would come up on survey like new double glazing plus new boiler etc. They are setting up appointments for AIP & I will still be gifting them a deposit & so will DS’s gf.Once I have sold to them my mortgage will be paid off. Officially I would be moving out for vacant possession, but they will let me back to stay paying a share of the bills until I find somewhere to buy as a cash buyer. So exciting but also stressful already! Will save me paying estate agent fees too. Will just have to pay solicitor fees. Then I will be able to save £500 a month & once moved would be able to calculate if I can retire early 😁0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
