About time! It's the best of both worlds for all of you.
Better start having a mooch to see what's around and what you'd like in a new place 😀
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Sounds like a great solution. Exciting! Hope you find the perfect home to buy soon. I’m jealous of everyone moving! I keep looking and there’s nothing I’d prefer in my budget coming up at all!

Ahh the moving plan sounds great, how nice for all of you! :)
  • Too excited to sleep 🙄 plus have been zonked on the sofa since posting earlier 😴

Tried to phone vm after work as contract is still wrong. Have made a formal complaint but getting nowhere 😕 Have sent yet another WhatsApp.

Took the dog to the vet as she has lost a whisker & has a tiny bald patch on her face. Vet had a look doesn’t seem to be ringworm & we have some stuff to dab on. That’s a laugh can’t get near her as soon as she sees the cotton wool pad coming towards her. 😆 No fee as pet monthly plan DS pays apparently renewed before Christmas with 1 free vet consult a year. Just paid for potion £11.

Refund onto debit card from mat Alan £16. More than actually paid on card (£30 on gift card & £12.50 on debit card) but will not be complaining when the alternative was back on the gift card!

Portion of stew from freezer for dinner. Friends tortoises are now ensconced in my shed 🐢🐢😁 and a couple of boxes of fragile bits into utility room. They move on Saturday and she looks exhausted. Hopefully will not be as stressful for me if DS & gf do manage to buy this place.

The cream stuff probably smells funky to PD.
Shouldn't be anywhere near as stressful for you as you'll have time to slowly move out, it makes a huge difference having a month or two overlap.

  • Hopefully I will be able to pounce on any suitable property as a cash buyer. The ones fresh to the market at the weekend on right move have already sold stc 😕

When you're properly looking, get on good terms with a few EAs who have properties you liked and they'll start to match you with upcoming ones before they hit the market.

  • It’s a mild day, have walked the dog. Slow cooker is on, I am making curried parsnip soup for lunch.

Later on I will dig out the survey I had done on the house when we bought it. Hopefully it will save DS & gf some money and they may be able to just get a property valuation survey.

For mortgage purposes DS and GF only need a valuation.

It was a whole 10° up here.
