Posted a long reply earlier but it has disappeared ?
Had about 2 hours sleep last night. Took the dog for a walk round the pond in the morning. DS’s gf decided to work from home & sat in the kitchen with her. Unfortunately poor puppy has been sick again a couple of times but is bright and energetic and drinking normally so will keep an eye on her.Rang the locksmith at 9am and he came out within the hour. I could open the door from outside so I didn’t have to pay him to break in. No call out fee. He had to replace part of the multi lock system in the door. The barrel lock, where you put the key, and the handle were fine. Total cost £189 including £80 labour and just over £31 vat. I will pay from emergency fund.I slept most of the rest of the day. Took some painkillers for my back which was agony after standing in the hallway for an hour with the locksmith.Went to walk the dog around 4.30pm with DS’s gf but as we got part way down the road fireworks went off, so poor puppy ran home dragging DS’s gf with her. Some people are so damn inconsiderate with fireworks, it wasn’t even dark 🤬0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Poor dog was too scared to walk down the street in daylight this morning ☹️ However we crossed over and she would walk down the other side. Once we got to the park she was fine & had a run around after her ball & a roll in the wet grass. 😆 Hopefully she will not be sick today.Still feeling a bit rough myself today. Have had a bowl of cereal & a hot chocolate and will start work soon. All food planned from stores today0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Poor PD, hope she's better soon. The fireworks issue needs dealing with and should be public display only nowadays.
Locksmith sounds like a good number to keep.
Hope you feel better soon too, take it easy, light snacks and plenty of rest.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Poor dog. I think it's long overdue for fireworks to be public display only. My cat is 16 with a slight heart murmer, but still likes to go and sit in the garden if the weather is ok. In our area, we have random ones going off at different times right the way through from October to New Year. Impossible to predict when, but if he is outside when they occur, he is totally petrified. Doesn't seem fair for his last years.

£189 for locksmith OMG. We need to retrain with this as our career. I am so sorry about fireworks i dont understand why people are still setting them off after 5 Nov. It's v inconsiderate. I hope you are starting to feel better. Standing in the cold is not good when you are already tired. 3 days till the weekend.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

I didn’t think the price was too bad for the locksmith. He came within an hour and was polite & professional and cleaned up afterwards. Part of the cost was for the replacement lock. If I had to pay a call out fee check a trade said average that could have been another £100 + and if he had to get the door open from £70 +
Have walked the dog this morning she seems more like her normal self today. She wasn’t sick yesterday so fingers crossed. Sorry to hear about your cat MoneyWorry it’s so unfair on all animals. There doesn’t seem to be any signs of them being banned though despite all the complaints, damage, accidents and injuries every year!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

There's usually a petition each year, but nothing ever comes of it.
Thanks for saying about PD, it's a relief to hear.
Hope you're feeling better to.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
