    1. Shredding. I have a large box still needs doing & can do this while seated
    2. sort monthly budget✅
    3. Move money from various accounts to pay credit card bill for birthday gifts, house insurance & microwave✅
    4. I have a large piece of net curtain which needs making into 2 nets for the back bedrooms. I bought it ages ago (maybe last year !) for the back patio doors but that didn’t work out. It just needs cutting down the middle & then fold over top & sewing to make a channel for the wire to go through. I will get DS or his gf to help hold it at each end while I cut it down the middle as I can’t do it on the floor
    5. Had a food delivery yesterday & will make a batch of chilli✅
    6. sew up hem on patio door curtains which has partially come undone
    7. Wash bedding✅
Haven’t done as much as planned but am not going to beat myself up about it. Have slept most of day 😴 Am just going to make a batch of chilli, some for tea & the rest for the freezer.

You have done a lot, while resting. Recovery is priority, everything else can wait.

    Have a good evening 😊

Just made my bed with lovely clean fresh sheets which dried in the blustery wind today. Just had shower & dried hair and waiting for pain meds to kick in.

Had home made chilli for tea with half a pack of microwave rice.

Have donated £20 to honour our heroes. 2 Normandy veterans cycling 104 miles at their care home for the charity that cares for them. They started on Anniversary of VE Day & finished today on the Anniversary of DDay.

It’s very sunny here this afternoon. Haven’t done much today, but the hospital advised me to keep my foot moving. I’ve been out to the garden twice with the dog sitting down & throwing her ball so she can fetch it back. DS & gf were on nights last night so they have just got up. They will walk her later when it cools down.

I’ve also unloaded the dishwasher, emptied the recycling & the food waste caddy which involved a short walk from the kitchen to the front door. The rest of the day so far I have been lounging on the sofa with the dog 🐶

I'm just considering hoovering the dog carpet, which I think I can do sitting on a dining room chair 😆

Not much to report on the money saving front. Foot still very sore & black and cannot walk.

Had a curry delivered for DS’s birthday paid from birthday fund. It was delicious & mine lasted me 2 meals. ☺️ Am just cooking some Chipolata sausages for breakfast & there will be some leftover for breakfast/lunch/ snacks over the next few days. Start work soon which will give me something else to think about apart from my foot.

Try not to push yourself, give your foot time to heal.
