Flippin heck it sounds awful. You will be in real pain for the next few days just keep taking those pills and resting if you can. I hate falls they just happen out of the blue and leave you shaken up. Be kind to yourself ok. Sending a big hug, swx.

Thanks folks. Had a good nights sleep took 2 strong painkillers. It’s been raining most of the day. The garden has really perked up, I think it needed a drink ! The rain has also washed my car 😆

Worked 6 hours. My new pain meds were delivered this afternoon. I will take them in the day & take 2 stronger ones at night.

Had thai green curry for tea. Fried some chicken, mushrooms & baby corn for 3 mins and added a Lloyd grossman jar of sauce. Simmer for 20 mins. Had half a pack of microwave rice with it. It was lovely and enough left to put in the freezer.

    That's good you slept better.

I've often threatened to run outside and squirt washing up liquid on the car when it rains 😂

Nomnom to you tea and having a portion for the freezer.

Hope you have another restful night and feel a bit better tomorrow x

Good morning SYA, I'm getting worried as you haven't posted for a couple of days. Hopefully it's because you are resting your foot, having PD cuddles and DS / GF running around treating you like a queen 😊

Fed the dog earlier & had a cup of tea & more pain meds. The new ones are not strong enough for daytime so I have taken 2. The Nightime ones are twice the strength of 2 daytime ones so this should be ok.

Must do something productive today or I will be bored sitting around with no work.

    1. Shredding. I have a large box still needs doing & can do this while seated

    2. sort monthly budget

    3. Move money from various accounts to pay credit card bill for birthday gifts, house insurance & microwave

    4. I have a large piece of net curtain which needs making into 2 nets for the back bedrooms. I bought it ages ago (maybe last year !) for the back patio doors but that didn’t work out. It just needs cutting down the middle & then fold over top & sewing to make a channel for the wire to go through. I will get DS or his gf to help hold it at each end while I cut it down the middle as I can’t do it on the floor

    4. Had a food delivery yesterday & will make a batch of chilli

    5. sew up hem on patio door curtains which has partially come undone

Could you take one nighttime and one daytime if the daytime ones are not helping with the pain
That way you are getting a slightly higher pain med, but not too strong.

Your tasks sound perfect for sitting down.

Hope you have a good day 😊

The GP has given me 2 different pills for the daytime & I take 2 x combined pills at night so I don’t think it would work to mix them.

It’s sunny & windy here so I am going to wash my bedding. Not very heavy so should be able to hang it out just using one of crutches 😆

Here's my budget for June. No petrol again this month, usually £40,  as I still have plenty & not driving anywhere.
