It was lovely and pleasantly warm this morning at 7.30 when I walked the dog. It’s boiling now !

Shopping came at 10.30am total cost with delivery £33.23 and only a few items out of stock that I can manage without.

Had a fry up for breakfast, sausage, bacon, egg, hash browns 😋 yummy. Then drove to a friends house with her birthday card for tomorrow (Not the same girl who had the picnic in the park) and had a social distanced chat at the door 😁

Have had a lovely shower and a bit of pampering, nails done & hair washed.

Also switched my gas & electric to British Gas via MSE & there is £25 cash back after 3-6 months. I’ve been overpaying Monthly to my current provider to cover the winter bill, as I didn’t want a big balance to pay in full when I switch.

    Can’t believe it’s 1st of June tomorrow!

A productive day andwand pampering, sounds like your 'you' time was overdue and having painted nails always gives a boost.

BG are ok as they adjust the DD each time a bill is done until they settle on the right amount, never had any issues with them in the last flat.

2020 is an odd year so far and one we will all hope to see the back of 😁

Oh dear no SYA, do not leave it too long before contacting your GP to discuss it. Keep elevated with heat / ice whichever works best for you.

I hope it settles a little overnight x

Still extremely painful this morning, haven’t slept well, but I have managed to get a cup of tea. 😊 I’ve had some frozen peas on it & more painkillers. I will follow the RICE advice I was given last time when I did both ankles at end of Feb. Rest, Ice, compression, elevate. If it’s not starting to feel better after a few days I will contact my GP. DS & gf are sorting puppy dog.

Oh no about the fall Skinty, take painkillers and rest as much as you can. The meal planning is great. I need to do this but never get round to it. Please have  a good day.

Spoke to my GP today as my back pain meds are too strong for foot pain in daytime if I take 2 and not strong enough if I take 1. She is sending me some lower codine ones so I won’t be so off my head. 🤪

She also told me to go to our local hospital drop in centre today! for an X-ray as she thought there was too much swelling & bruising. So off I went 6pm got home just after 9pm & it’s not broken but I now have crutches. 😊The doc looking after me at the hospital said before the X-ray he thought it was broken as it was so black & after the X-ray said he was really surprised it wasn’t broken!

DS dropped me off and spent £3 on taxi back. Social distancing as much as possible in hospital & all staff plus taxi driver masked & gloved. Tried not to think about being scared, needs must when you are in that much pain !! I put my clothes straight in the wash when I got in and shower & hair wash so hopefully Ok. Just going to take pain meds & go to bed

Glad it's not broken and hope the new tablets are able to ease the pain and you get a good nights sleep. X
