I don’t have any borders 😆 The bluebells come up through the edge of the lawn up against the fence. The celandine come up at the edge of the weed free membrane on what was a border but is now covered in purple slate. The celandine are pretty in spring so I leave them until they die back then pull up the leaves.

I made my garden as maintenance free as possible without getting rid of the lawn, but weeds still manage to find somewhere to grow !

I just leave the bluebells to die back on their own and only kill them if they affect the lawn too. Im deadly with the weed and feed. lol

Mine have already died back so I just removed the dead heads & yellow leaves.

I have sorted online banking and moved £300 into savings, £50 into birthday / Xmas fund, £100 into Annual bills account, £50 into car fund & £15 into dog food fund. £70 left until payday.

Bluebells look so pretty, I've lost my white ones as I can't remember where they were in the lawn area.

You've kept to your budget 🤗

I think spring is my favourite season in the garden. Blue grape hyacinths (muscari?) come up in the lawn plus Daffodils, tulips, bluebells & celandine. Now the rotting leaves have been removed I’ve mowed the long grass where they were growing but it does look bland. They come back every year 😊

The weather has been warm & windy. One load of washing line dried. Walked the dog at 8am then worked until 3 with lots of long breaks. Then took the dog to the pond just for a wander & a bit of fresh air. DS & gf have just taken her to the park for a run around.

Sliced some belly pork & roasted for dinner with Chinese 5 spice. Made some stir fried veg & egg fried rice Nom nom 😋

Was up early this morning working from 7.30an while waiting for a parcel, which came at 10am. Then took the dog out round the pond and back to work. Can’t use the equipment as I don’t have the correct cable 😕 but have ordered the one needed from amazon. I signed up to a free trial of prime but not impressed as will not arrive until Friday. Packed everything away again & back to previous set up for now.

Finished work at 1.30pm and had a walk to the coop. Needed milk & bought a few other bits including rice on offer, tin tomatoes, babybel on offer £1 and was naughty & bought ice cream 😋 total spend £10.60

Am just waiting to hear whether DS & gf are walking the dog or I will walk her. It’s a nice sunny evening here

So sorry about the cable. My friend is getting a bad back from her home layout too. Glad you had a walk and ice cream. The weather was glorious. I must start doing some exercise. Have a good day tomorrow.

Thanks SW, it’s lovely and sunny here this morning. I have started work early as I am expecting a parcel collection. Once they have collected I will take the dog out, hopefully they will come early.

This afternoon I am going to chop back some of the shrubs in the garden and sort the last lot of  stuff from the utility room onto shelves. It looks great in there now after decorating and sorting. I have a bag of stuff for the charity shop & might put it in the shed as I don’t want to clutter the rest of the house 😆
