It is so hard. I think it is a change of routine and she is enjoying being with you so she is still learning. You are doing so well with her. I hope she will be ok soon and learn to come back to you. When my dog was v young he ran away and didn't come to heel twice and both times he got lost and then we had to find him hours later (I am talking 35 years ago). He never did it again as he realised we couldn't always find him.  I am so sorry for the stress this is causing you. well done painting.

Rested for most of the day after morning dog walk. I think anxiety levels are high for most of us these days and so it only takes something small to trigger a meltdown!

Some of my work equipment arrived but cannot set up until the rest of it is delivered. Did a bit more sorting & got DS to part with more “stuff”. He’s like one of those hoarders on tv 😳 😆 can only sort a few things a day or he gets overwhelmed & storms off. Large road maps book & box of training manuals into recycling today 😁 Most of the tools, car stuff (cleaning stuff, de-icer, screen wash) now organised onto shelves.

Lots of people are having anxiety and meltdowns, plenty of short tempers around too. Find a happy place or do something which makes you feel good and it will help, even just for a little bit.

I'm sure DS will get through it all and allocated space found for what is being kept. It's too easy to think 'I may need that, I better keep it' compared to 'why do I even have this, I'm never going to use it'. What's harder is recognising there is a hoarding 'issue' and dealing with it. Pot, kettle and I'm off to deal with my hoarding!

Hope you have a lovely day 🤗

Well done Skinty one of my best friends is a hoarder it is so difficult. You have done so well over the time period and have even got DS on board a tremendous achievement considering the stress people are under. I'm glad some stuff has come from work. Let's hope you will be able to do something soon but not too much and learn from me and MF and set strict times as it takes over all your home time. The weather is colder by me today but it is still dry which is great. Have a good day.

Its been lovely and sunny but blimey the wind was cold when I walked the dog at 8am ! Used the long training lead again today and she was very good. :)

My specialist keyboard & mouse have now arrived so I have managed to do a little work today. Desperately need my specialist chair though as I cannot do much using the dining room chair as it gives me chronic back/neck pain.

I've finally got round to working out my budget for this month. Better late than never!  I have increased my food budget to £150 as shopping is more expensive in lockdown and I cant go to aldi. No petrol this month, the car is still half full. I have some overspend on food on the credit card from last month and this will be paid off in full.

    Your budget looks good.

At least your equipment is starting to arrive, hopefully the remainder won't be too far behind.

Im glad the walk went well. I do hope the chair comes soon and that your back recovers, just keep having breaks and walking. I have noticed my back is less sore as my home chair is better than the cheapo work chair however all of our eyes are suffering as we are on they keyboard for long time periods. Im going to copy your budget doo dah as it will inspire me to see if I can make some changes.

Walked the dog this morning then went to the doctors for a blood test for my diabetes & thyroid. Dropped some glass bottles and jars at the local bottle bank on the way home. Managed another couple of hours work. Then hoovered the dog carpet & kitchen tiled floor.

Moved money into bills account. House insurance paid on credit card will be on next months credit card bill and then paid from bills account.

The subscription for DF’s magazine is also due to be on next months credit card bill and will be paid from birthdays / Xmas fund. However they have made a mistake and sent the May magazine to me. Tried to call them today but no answer so will try again tomorrow.
