And the Avon Dry ends serum bites the dust :p WNBA its one of those products I can do without in my life, especially since its taken me over 5 years to UU. I too ignore the best before's on toiletries unless it has a bad reaction to my skin then its binned or someone else gets to try.

    UU
Boots Vitamin E Moisture Lotion 100ml - I thought this was a good quality cream which didn't cost much. It seemed to suit my skin at this time of year. Have replaced with Lidl cream from stash.

Sanex Natur Protect Roll-On Deodorant 50ml- I'm pleased to have used this up as it lasted a while. I liked that it used natural ingredients and it was good as an everyday deodorant. However I prefer other deodorants for the gym.

1 x mini perfume from gift set - Used up another very old mini perfume in the atomiser at work today. There's now 2 left to use up. Not a huge fan of the scents so glad to have used another up.

morning all - just checking in!

no UU yet but a couple of things starting to splutter and to help them along I had a bit of a pamper with facemask etc last night.

Do have a couple of ins to confess though!
Elemis Miceler water, PCMC and skin bliss capsules.
I have been loving the skin bliss capsules and found a set of the above on QVC for less than the price of the bliss capsules on their own! go figure!

In a bid to try and UU another item I opened a sample tube of Alpha H Liquid Gold last night. Found the foil top really fiddly to remove, then the tube felt bloated like it was full of air, stuck a pair of scissors into the hole and loads of product squirted out everywhere. I tried this last night on my face and can't say I felt or noticed any difference.

It's a dark day ladies. MRM got a card through the post yesterday announcing that the L'occitane Boutique at Trafford (assume this is Trafford Centre) is closing. Noooooooo! Must admit it was always quiet when we went in there.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Old stuff, I don't mind using old stuff, but frankly I am sick of the sight of the 11 year old items. They have moved house with me 3 times! By the end of this year I would like to have nothing more than 5 years old except perfume and nail varnish, through UU'ing my older items. It looks do-able.

Hermia I have oily/combo skin and hated the Garnier Moisture Bomb because it was so wet, felt like washing my face out of a pot! I persevered and UU'd with no ill effects but no noticeable positive ones either.

    Some good UUS:
The aforementioned very elderly Sunsilk straightening cream. Hurrah!
Cherry scented handcream in a cupcake shaped pot. Rubbish handcream, nice pot.
Lush Juicy Shampoo. This was a gift, fine but will not repurchase, shopping in Lush stresses me out.

These were all in my February PP, remaining items are going well:
White eyeshadow - few crumbs left. Have been using this daily for 18 months. Will have to seriously rethink my eyeshadow strategy from Saturday onwards!
    Lush Fun - halfway gone
Nivea pearly pink lipbalm - LHJ
    Lush sleepy body lotion
    No 7 mini primer
Givenchy Ange ou Demon mini perfume, using this up to smell nice in the evenings, much too in your face for me for outside wear

I bought myself GlamGlow Clearing Treatment Mask :o

Always wanted to try these and my skin particularly looks awful recently. Lots of breakouts, mostly hormonal :( I'm thinking to get Dermalux treatment and I found a salon offering it, they suggested I should get what they call Cosmo Peel. I was tempted but it is a strong peel (15% glycolic acid) and I'm not sure I'm ready to walk around after the treatment. Also I'm worried that it would do more harm than good?

    Also UU

Clinique Pop Lip Color, Blush Pop no 23. Have been using this for over a year, nearly every day. Liked it and might buy again. Perhaps in a different color this time.

2 small Yankee Candles and 1 simple handwash are also gone.

  • Just been reading through the thread loving it:):) and i think this is something that would really benefit me. I have a huge hoard of shower gels from christmas and birthdays i cant even get them all in the bathroom storage and i even brought another unit, theres also three soap and glory large vanity bags under the bed full of things.

My PP list of the top of my head for feb

    1. Avon strawberry shower gel.
    2. Liz earle moisturiser
    3. soap and glory heel genius
    4. l'occitane rose hand cream
    5. Soap and glory clean on me shower gel
    6. soap and glory face soap and clarity.

I know at least two of these will be emptied before the month is out:rotfl:. When i have been using an item out of the hoard i have been replacing it with a pound so i can replace the things i love when the hoard is cut right down. (Also must confess i have a yankee candle hoard stashed under the bed as well). I think i need to repeat i must not hoard three times and have a lie down in the dark.
If you dream it can you do it????????
