  • I used up benefit erase paste. I have a spare to be getting on with but it was really nice. I hit pan on my blusher.

Expiry dates is a tricky thing I would have agreed until recently this last year that I agreed that I would use most anything beyond the expiry. However, shampoo from bed head changed mind with it turning into a viscous gel that seemed to not pump up and didn’t do much. Natural cleansers with low preservative levels seem to be every sensitive to expiry dates as they don’t work as good as when open.
I am using an out of date sebamed shower gel currently and would use a soap that is out of date with out question. Generally, I obey expiry dates with mascaras and creams in pots as the amount of dipping fingers into the pot increases the potential of it going off. I am for lenient to use a cream in a pump that has less potential contamination of bacteria. I find lip balms and lip glosses seem to split and are prone to needing to be `chucked.

Just been reading through the thread loving it:):) and i think this is something that would really benefit me. I have a huge hoard of shower gels from christmas and birthdays i cant even get them all in the bathroom storage and i even brought another unit, theres also three soap and glory large vanity bags under the bed full of things.

My PP list of the top of my head for feb

    1. Avon strawberry shower gel.
    2. Liz earle moisturiser
    3. soap and glory heel genius
    4. l'occitane rose hand cream
    5. Soap and glory clean on me shower gel
    6. soap and glory face soap and clarity.

I know at least two of these will be emptied before the month is out:rotfl:. When i have been using an item out of the hoard i have been replacing it with a pound so i can replace the things i love when the hoard is cut right down. (Also must confess i have a yankee candle hoard stashed under the bed as well). I think i need to repeat i must not hoard three times and have a lie down in the dark.

    Welcome to the thread.

    Welcome donkids22!
Another NBI*. I've decided to try and move away from facial wipes for a little while, as I missed the fresh feel of washing.

However, this tends to wake me up before bedtime, rather than relax me, so as an alternative I got this:
Aveeno Baby Daily Care Cleansing Milk

I really like it, I love the smell of Aveeno's adult body care lotion and this has that distinct milky aroma.

    I have some uu's

Aromatherapy Associates De Stress Muscle Bath Oil 7.5ml - WNBA, nice scent but that is it, I run and cycle a lot and feel well qualified to say whether this does anything for muscles and it doesn't.

Liz Earle Bergamot & Ginger Shower Nectar 200ml - I liked this in the end but WNBA and can't anyway.

Benefit They're Real Mascara - this was a mini one, it does a good job and I like how wet it is but I have been using it for a while now and it needs to be replaced.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara - this was a double ended mini with a lip gloss, the wand is way, way too big, it is actually bigger than my whole eye, the formula is reasonable but not awesome. The lip gloss on the other end is called Magnificent Mauve and is a shimmer colour, it is very old fashioned and I would be forcing myself to use so have got rid.

I have one of these in the stash, I think I better reduce the expectations of this one significantly. I am glad it was free now.

  • Assaj - regarding the peel do you mind me asking how old you are? Also have you used cosmetic acids/peels at home ever?

I have a few freebie ins and two UUs

    Ins:
Sachet of TBS bouncey sleep mask
Sample of body shop rose face mask
Sample of body shop honey face mask

    UUs
Lush salted coconut handscrub smells like
play dough which at first I loved then went off. Used as body scrub mainly. WPNB - think I like solid scrubs by lush better lady longer too.
Sachet of TBS mask mentioned above WMB liked how my skin felt the next day however wasn't that keen on how it feels going on. It's a very unusual consistency.

I now have no body scrubs. Using up samples of moisturiser rather than buying one (have a few open tubes too that I probably need to try again and potentially chuck if not right). I also have no bath products apart from a half bottle of very basic boring sensitive skin body wash.

Well done on graduation re bath products. If you're looking for a solid scrub from Lush I really love Porridge however MRM banned me from buying it as it clogged the bathroom drain. Love Cup o Coffee as its replacement but do think Porridge lasted longer.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
