    Morning diary world :D

As always I have nothing exciting to update. I have not won the lottery, I have not found myself a rich sugar daddy, I have not found piles of money under our floorboards so I am still in debt up to my big ears. But I'm still here plugging away :p

Another round of payments made as it's been payday. I'm sure my money has wings as it hits my account and then flies through again waving at me as it passes :rotfl: Anyway another month ticked off, another few teaspoons scooped out of my huge lake and another small step closer I suppose.

Well, perhaps the lottery win, rich sugar daddy and piles of money under the floorboards are still to come? :D I mean, have you actually had the floorboards up in any serious way? :rotfl:

Slow and steady wins the race. :)

Ive been 3 days rummaging under the floorboards and guess what I found Dust, Dust and more Dust :rotfl:

Oh well onwards with my slow journey it is then. :D

Looking at figures again (yawn) and my plan shows that come the end of August I will be able to save quite a bit more towards our F&F offers which means that as I planned by December time we should/could be in a position to make an off on 2 of our smallest debts. If I cross my fingers any harder I wont be able to type on here ever again :p

I know i'm presuming that our creditors will accept, ive read lots of peoples stories who have the same creditors as us and have successfully negotiated f&f settlements. If nothing else it gives me something to hope and plan for.

And yes I should be working at this moment in time :o

Morning diary world. I finally feel like posting :o. Been awol as I have not been well. I have an ear infection that makes me feel like I'm drunk (if only). It's an awful feeling and has makes me feel very odd.

Have antibiotics so hopefully they will sort it out.

Anyway, debt wise we are still emptying our lake with a teaspoon. Sometimes it seems we empty a good few spoonfuls and then it rains and fills it back up again :)
Slow and steady wins the race eh!

On a positive note Halifax wrote to us to say that an overdraft we had many many moons ago had charges on it which were wrong. They are paying £41 back to the account. This is the account we no longer use due to the DMP. So I have a feeling they will snatch it back as soon as it hits the account. We'll see. Oh well it's £41 we never had.

Cannot believe it's April already. My how time flies

    Hi debtaghh

It's a right mission this debt busting isn't it. We have highs and lows constantly. We're in this boat so we just have to keep rowing

Hope you are ok and plodding along nicely in debt land

I am feeling so much better now :D. The tablets have definitely worked.

Cheered myself up by making a small overpayment today. Every little helps.

The sun is shining and gradually feeling like I have got my mojo back. Long may it continue.

Hope you are all well and enjoying some sunshine too.

    Happy Easter all :EasterBun

A lovely sunny day here today. We have the BBQ out. All food bought and paid for by DS as a treat. He also cooks it all too. All me and DH have to do is eat it :D. We even have paper plates to save on washing up. I love a lazy Sunday.

Have direct debits still to go on Tuesday due to the holiday weekend. Once these have gone I will be making another small overpayment to something, another half a teaspoon from my lake :)

    Evening all
Back to work for me today :(

But came home to a small positive. Halifax have reimbursed overdraft charges. Can't even remember when we had an overdraft.

They have paid in £46.35p. I said it was a small positive :D. We haven't used this account since joining the DMP brigade and am slightly worried they will snatch it back as we have 2 debts with them on our DMP. Although the account is still open and still had pennies in it. They or we never closed it. I will attempt to draw it out and see if the machine swallows my card.
