    Morning diary world.

We're both still here and haven't done each other in yet :p

I think things will be ok, have written to creditors again to update them on our [STRIKE]mess[/STRIKE] situation. We have heard back from the new ones who are waiting on our financial statement. Will be getting on to this today at some point. Hopefully they will work with us and give us time to iron out the creases. (I need a big iron) :rotfl:
Things are tight here money wise but I'm not panicking or stressing as that will change nothing.

Priority bills will still be paid so at least we will have a roof over our heads and gas, electric and food.

DH is feeling better and is waiting for an appointment to get results. Fingers crossed they will all be ok and things will get back on track.

He is also looking for a new job. His current one is rubbish and the company too. Lots of changes for less money etc. Anyway he has one in the pipeline and is hoping to get this sorted next week some time. He has an insider pulling a few strings for him lol. This will give him a huge boost mentally. (Here's hoping)
If this job comes off he will move from weekly pay to monthly so budgets will need to be torn up and literally started from scratch. Oh the joys of being in debt.

Things Will be ok in the Motivated household I'm sure of it

Glad to hear you sounding a bit more positive M. (((hugs)))

Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well with OH new job. It will hopefully give him a boost and help with the depression.
    You can do this. XX

Morning all and a chilly one it is here.

Spent the morning redoing our financial statement and will be popping out to post it in a minute.

Will spend the afternoon going over our budgets and making the figures tally. Haven't been stressing there's no point. It won't change anything.

DH has an interview in the week :T and this has cheered him up no end. He's trying not to get his hopes up but finding it difficult.

As I said earlier we will be moving to a monthly budget as opposed to one monthly pay and one weekly (provided the new job comes off) I plan to sit upstairs, put the TV on and budget, budget, budget.

Im sure everything is going to work out fine :D

    Morning all :)

A good thing happened to us for once, DH has a new job :T and his mood has lifted so much. He was unhappy in his last job, along with them mucking up his pay and him being off sick. Still waiting for results but he is feeling much better. I think it was all linked to be honest. Plus the fact [STRIKE]we[/STRIKE] I managed to sort out the stupid loans he got. Lesson learned by him I can tell you.

Anyway he now moves to monthly pay so a tight few weeks ahead for us. But I've budgeted for everything and set up new standing orders from our main account to our other accounts such as the car, Christmas, the bills and F&F. I've set the amounts so that when they're needed we will have the correct amount in each. This makes it easier rather than me transferring it myself and to avoid temptation to spend it. Phew, I'm all budgeted out. If I look at another number my brain is likely to explode

One good thing about it is I get paid in the middle and he gets paid at the end of the month so technically we have money coming in every 2 weeks (ish). Plan to shop and top up the freezer every 2 weeks too all within budget and see how that works out.

I get paid in the week and have direct debits set for the day I get paid. So technically I'm rich for about 10 minutes. My money just flies through the account waving at me as it passes :rotfl: But at least I know everything is paid and we don't have to hide behind the settee when anyone knocks on the door.

According to my figures we will be back on our feet by August/September which seems far away but it goes so quick.

Still planning to make a F&F Offer around Christmas time and hopefully the creditor will be full of Christmas spirit and do a deal with us ;). It's only one of the smaller debts but it will knock our overall total down a little and I can cross one of them off. Fingers crossed.

Pouring of rain here today so will stay in doors and catch up on housework. Oh the joys!

Hi Cherry thanks for popping in.

He started yesterday and so far so good. He basically told his other company to stick it but not in so many words :p He's left on good terms and is waiting for them to add up any monies owed to him and have done with them.

Your right about August/Sept too. Time flies when your having fun eh.

Nice that he is already in the job... and that there is some money due to him from the previous one. Hopefully they will sort that out quickly.

I like your new signature - very true. :)

:j :j :j Brill news about OH new job. :j :j :j And, if you're anything like me, the months just fly by! September will be here before you know it, but hopefully in between you can have a more peaceful time knowing that things are going in the right direction. X

    Thanks Chrystal :)

I so hope things will get back on track. I have a small niggle in my head saying somethings going to crop up again. Must stop being negative and keep my eye on the goal

Just sat here watching 'Fat, the fight of my life'. Jesse Pavelka  making my eyes water :rotfl: Well at least somethings put a smile on my face :D

    Evening all

As Elton John said 'I'm still standing' :D

DH has started his job and is feeling a lot happier. He says his new colleagues are nice and much better than the last. He's also happier that we managed to sort out the new creditor he signed up to. They have accepted a reduced payment plan and have been very understanding. (Phew).

Payday tomorrow so another round of paying, checking, adding, subtracting, balancing figures and the list goes on. At the end of it though I know we are still swimming and another couple of teaspoons done :D

Have just withdrawn £10 from my prolific surveys so another little bonus

When DH gets paid at the end of the month we will have money to top up accounts and will be back on the debt busting road. I feel like we're currently back on the smooth tarmac road. We've just come off the gravel and imagine the debt busting road is going to be like this all the way to the very far end.
