The pennies in my money box has taken years to amass. I have just left them alone. Tbh, I used to be really ruthless and all of my coins (except those needed for a parking ticket) used to go in them and I would bag them up every other holiday.

Thank-you. I got a little card from my son. Well, it was a list of phrases that his teacher wrote for him. The words weren't bad for someone who can't talk!

Job cuts are so stressful. Four people have to go and I have no idea how we can operate with an even tinier team. We lost three at the end of last year and can barely cope now.
  • Happy mothers day Snozberry. Those cards from your lo mean so much - I kept all mine and they are lovely to look back on even when they are 21 like mine is now ! I'm sure he would say all those things if he could speak :D

    Today was an NSD :)

Been itching to spend some money (I'm shattered) and have filled several baskets on line with stuff and before I could wh1p my CC out I ... promptly deleted the page.

I have a bidder on eb@y. I only need another £58 worth of sales ...
  • well done on resisting buying, hang on in there you are doing so well !

Today is my third NSD on the trot although I did pay for my sons next block of therapy today. As I had already saved and budgeted for it I thought that it doesn't really count as a spend. We also ate courtesy of the freezer for tea and I took some soup out to defrost for my dinner as well. I made the mistake of taking it out of the freezer last week in the morning and it was still frozen solid at dinner time despite spending a good few hours sitting on my desk!
  • I often microwave things from frozen including chilli and stew so I would have just put the frozen soup in on full power for a few extra minutes. The way I see it we don't defrost bought microwave frozen meals. ;)

Five more get ups until the holibobs!!! I am exhausted!!!

I have made a batch of soup ready for my dinners and the item I had listed on eb@y went for a lot more than I thought. I also have some pennies from TCB that I am waiting to appear in my P@yP@l account. I haven't listed anything else on eb@y and I really ought to. All the more for the cause!!

Ohhhh I can't wait for the Easter holls!!

Well done on fleabay sales. You can do them at Easter. 5 days and Friday doesn't count. That's how I remember it. I hope this week goes well for you.
