I overheard my wife telling a friend that she was going to recycle a card from a previous year.
Apparently, I'll never know.0 -

just pay the postage. I've used them before for photos and a book, and the quality's decent. They're obviously hoping that you'll spend more while you're on the site / app0 -
I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day, but I love doing little arts and crafts. I'm making my own Valentine's card this year using this tutorial: http://smile.findmeagift.co.uk/how-to/how-to-make-a-valentines-card/

Bet you wish you had thought to hang onto the card you gave her last year so you could do the same :money:Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

My husband bought me the same card last year that he'd bought a couple of years earlier. I thought it looked vaguely familiar, when I put it away in my treasure box I found the old one!Make £2025 in 2025

No Valentines card for me today but i dont mind. He brings me a cup of coffee every morning before he leaves for work without being asked to.
I'll probably get a lipstick or something out of him the weekend.:rotfl:
It hacks me off when he misses my birthday though. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
simple cheap idea I did one year, a pack of heart shaped post it notes, which she discovered after I had already left for work, eg, open the curtains in bedroom I have covered the window in them with little messages, then on bathroom mirror, down the stairs, on her lunch box in the fridge, in her bag, in car etc etcI'm a greenfield sight for sore eyes, and sore eyes are just needing the light, the shapes, and the shadows of the space we share, before it splits into Thin Air.0

I might have a go at making one before she gets home.

Ashamed to say I forgot to buy a card:o
I was watching First Dates late last night and Fred said something about the nicest thing you could give someone is... 'just a card'. My jaw hit the floor and I ran upstairs apologising to the BF who'd already gone to bed.
I did however sit and make him a lovely one with a heart, ribbon and bow (and silver thread), paper you can fray (forgot the name) and a sort of gauze. He said it was much nicer than getting a shop card. (I make cards so had everything.)
I really should've styled it out and just said I'd planned to make it all along
Jx2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0
