Hi all,
After a good nights sleep I am feeling on it! For the first time in ages I went to bed without having an anxiety attack or overthinking everything. I feel rested.
Today's list:
*dry washing to put away and new load on airer
*put cheque in the bank from previous car tax refund
*finalise budget - forgot to include pet food etc so need to squeeze that in
*fill in form for financial support for my course
*general chores - tidy house=tidy mind=better functioning & feeling like I have got this!
*breakfast and lunch at home and dinner from meal plan/stores
*aiming for NSD - apart from the tyre I have not spent anything since Saturday which is unusual for me. Feels good
Apparently its going to be the coldest day of the year tomorrow. My energy bill is due next month so fingers crossed I haven't used more than I should have - I am a little frivolous with my heating and keep it on low most of the time. I was in credit by approx £200 at my last bill though so should be fine. Once I have my home improvements done the house will be less chilly.
Hope you all have a fabulous day!Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -

Hi everyone
Happy little thread this morning… Ooh, DNMS – I’ll try that soup too. I also like that there’s no milk
I’m back at work today. Feeling absolutely fine – let’s hope it lasts. :A
Going to Costco tonight. Does anyone else go there? It was hurting my brain a little last time to work out if stuff was cheaper…
Going to order a new door tonight – exciting times – I am desperate to see how much this will save our heating bills as currently only have a curtain up between our dining room and conservatory and the conservatory is as cold as outside!! :j0 -
I'm making a determined return to the DFW lifestyle after about 3 years of getting myself back on my feet both professionally (jobwise) and personally.
My list of things to do this week is as follows:-- do an up to date SOA so i know where i stand - completed this morning
- meeting at work to discuss changes to role - this puts me in a position that i should finally have some closure and know where i stand ie if my job is secure or not (this is tomorrow PM so im pretty stressed)
- start applying for new roles so I feel like I'm being proactive and that i have some level of control - ongoing
- sell my car for scrap - mot failure and been offered 100 for it as is - my OH doesn't currently work so I will use his car for now - running costs of my car run at 46 pm not counting petrol so that will help - this is my mission this weekend - Saturday i visit the local scrap yards :S
- do an inventory of what is in the food cupboards so i don't buy what we don't need when I go shopping later.
