    i agree with a nice date and walnut cake, made one only the other day, half is in my freeze. walnuts are not very expensive and a small bag will do 2 cakes (you only put 1oz of them in my recipe) my mum buys loads of dates and makes homemade musili with them, or you could chop and put in with any other cereal. you could make flapjacks if you have some porridge oats and surup.x

    Hi there :beer: We have an existing thread with loads of ideas, so I'll add this thread to that one.

    I'd second the suggestion for a simple date loaf or sticky toffee pudding :D

    Make fruit scones except use dates instead of raisins or sultanas. You do need to chop them up a bit first though. This is really delicious and hopefully you could use the flour, marge etc you already have in...
