To be honest Pigpen's thought might be a good idea, to desensitise her a bit. My son had issues with 'We're going on a bear hunt' but we managed to resolve it by explaining about bears etc. You can get funny bones books in the library usually, I think most primary schools use them, we did when I was at school I think as I remember them :o or the school might lend you one.
One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all. Yuck, watching that Anthea programme on BBC3 and my skin is crawling. Good day really, some of list done and been out and about. Been to playgroup, had a bit of a funny situation with one of the mums. Only me and her with LOs the same age before summer so gave her my number and said call me if you want to meet up and she never did. Fair enough so have been polite to her and made friends with some new mums and their LOs, now the other woman won't leave me alone and she acts I like I should only talk to her and ignores the others. Oooer, arent we mums funny things. DH has man flu so gone to bed and DS is developing a cough so might be trip to docs. He had a nasty bump on his head earlier but seems to be fine though but better safe than sorry.

Got some of list done today, had a tidy in our room, S&S ensuite and dusted and thats it but at least it looks presentable. Bedding needs changing so must do that tomorrow.

Been freezing here today and given same out for tomorrow so have treated myself to some brown 'leather' boots (at £22 they aren't leather lol) to wear over my jeans so will wear them tomorrow if its cold. Planned on going out to mums but DH has said hes working from home as hes out tomorrow night so wants to see LO a bit so need to decide in morning. Plus got my cousin stopping overnight so that nice, quiet night in to myself has gone out of window but don't mind really. Got to do the school run on Friday morning so that should be interesting me getting her there on time. See you all tomorrow.

EDIT LO was crying so missed last ten mins of the Anthea Turner show, did they both clean up?

Sorry if my cold has passed via the tinternet, possibly just the season for it.

I wondered where my cold had come from;)

Done no flying today apart from about 30 mins sorting out a pile of paperwork. But I have had my eyes tested, taken a load of stuff to the charity shop, done some shopping, done 2 loads of washing and been to work. Tomorrow I'm hoping to spend a good part of the day at home so I can play catch up although I'm going into school first thing to see the Deputy Head and ask her for some tips on filling in some job applications.

LJD1 - pleased your LO is none the worse for his op.

Solway - hope you enjoy tomorrow night;)

I think I'm going to bed now so I'll catch up with everyone tomorrow.
