Shell, as someone who has just qualified as a primary teacher, I wouldn't personally dream of using a story like that with children as young as 4. I still vividly remember a nightmare that I had when I was 4 about skeletons, after seeing a pantomime with skeletons in.
I would definately speak to the teacher about it (maybe just before morning registration) and ask her if your daughter could maybe read a story with the teaching assistant in the corridor or library whilst all of the other children are listening to the skeleton story. Even now, I get creaped out by skeletons and feel sick when a hearse drives past me.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Shell.. I'd definitely speak tp the teacher. Maybe ask if you can borrow the book so you can look through it and possibly sit and talk to your daughjter about it, see if you can make her feel happier. My sister had 'Mr Creek the Crook' when she was about the same age and had nightmares for ages about men in stripy shirts and masks sneaking in the house at night, the teachers just don't think sometimes!!!
Toria.. glad it went down well.. try it when it is still hot with custard as well... SCRUMMY!!!! It's great as a crumble over strawberries as well.. Pretty good day for me again which is good (did lots at the weekend though) - the washing up now need to be done and I still haven't done the ironing but still a little while before bed!
Tomorrow may not be quite so successful as my Avon delivery is due and that takes a few hours to sort - ooh, that reminds me I need to box up all the returns.

Right, no going back my CMA is now in, so that's the last of the studying for this part of my course
and boy am I pleased!!!! Time to pack up those books now as I won't be using them again until after we have moved.
Calling estate agents tomorrow, see if we can sign on Saturday, Daddy says it's up to me nowkids bugged him a little I think :rotfl: I NEED to find out if the gas/elec is still switched on or not aswell, if it's been empty for over a year it might be off, I know the combi boiler was off. The thought of going over there to sort out armed with a kettle to find there is no electric is scary! I need to get that sorted soon as possible. Going to look into what the landlady is responsible for when it comes to the gas central heating aswell as it's been a while since I rented private and can't remember.
Right, where is my list! Need to see what I have done (and what I need to add to tomorrow!)One day I might be more organised...........

Thank you all so much so reasuring me. Will have a chat with the teacher when i drop her off tomorrow.
Just googled the funny bones stories Lil_me and i think it is those. "A dark dark cellar in a dark dark house on a dark dark hill. Am sure they are meant to be fun but she does "over think" things so best avoided.
We had another incident of the temper tonight when it was time to go home after walking the woof. She didnt want to go home, guess this is why as when Daddy came home she asked where the cellar in our house was - thank god we dont have one:eek: .
Ironing not getting done tonight, too tired - all this walking the dog is taking it out of me:D , hubby can do last trot before bed tonight. I keep meaning to wear my pedometer but is a bit complicated to set up. I just want a clip it on and it counts this one needs setting up with stride length, and 5 exercise functions and all sorts. Basic is best as far as I am concerned.0 -
