Yeah survived under the bed although it was pretty disgusting, very dusty full of old tissues and newspapers - very glad that was all.
Off now to bring in the washing although I will be surprised if it has dried as its freezing here, just heard on the radio that is to be minus two overnight so while outside I might move all the tubs into the greenhouse haven't put them for composting yet as they are still looking good and I will cling onto summer bedding for as long as I can.0 -
Hi everyone,
I too am feeling coldy. I have a sore throat and a headache and a funny nose...yuck.
I had a nice surprise when I did under my bed. I'd obviously sorted through the drawer/tub things under my bed, cause they just needed a quick tidy and they were done. I found a few more things to ebay, so I think I'm going to download turbo and give it a go.
I don't know if its been mentioned before, but I wouldn't tidying the car being put on a list at some point.0 -
OK, *deep breath* going to make coffee and take it upstairs and make a start on 'Manky-Emo-Bedroom-Of-Despair'.
I'm going in, if I'm not back for Christmas, Merry Christmas!
Oh, yes, Tidy car should be on the list! Mine is manky. Again. Like everything else.0 -

I have food
Although not enough room in the fridge - so I need to make a start on the soup 1st (anything to put off going back upstairs) Dad phoned up - I ended up running out of time although I have 4 bags on the go 1, for friend who has 2 boys younger than mine, 2, charity shop, 3, Rag bag and 4, Bin. I hate this job - I prefered it when I kept everything "just incase"...
shell - Don't let the other mum get to you - the vast majority are snotty mums there a few of us that are ok! (or at least that is the way it works at our school) Same thing has happened to me - it is even more confusing when at a later date they try to have a conversation with you! next time just blank her... I am looking for waterproofs too - will let you know if I find anything.

Thanks to all who suggested I get the files from Tescos. They are pretty aren't they?
And only 97p for 5 (just the number I needed). Am slowly plodding away with sorting everything into the correct files as we speak. So far have done the cat's file and I think I've just about finished the car file. Just another 3 files to fill! On the plus side though, this has covered 3 of my tasks in one - sort through a drawer in the bedroom, at least 15 minutes on the paperwork, and 27 fling boogie (I'm sure I must have shredded or recyled 27 bits of paper by now).:j
Will have to post my updated list a bit later.
Hope everyone with colds has an early night and feels better soon. I usually suffer really badly with colds, but I was determined not to let the latest one affect me so much by going to the local market and making myself a fresh fruit salad that I had for breakfast every day for about 4 days after I read an article in tesco healthy living magazine that said to eat the colours of the rainbow (strawberries, cantaloupe melon, fresh pineapple [meant to be very good for colds], banana, kiwi fruit, grapes). If you can't face making one, you could try buying a carton of fresh pineapple juice (not the one from concentrate). Can't remember where I heard about the pineapple thing, but it does seem to work, especially if you have a sore throat. Fresh basil is also good for sore throats cos it has a natural antiseptic in it.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Hi all, ta folks for the congratulatory noises!
I left work an hour early so I could get a head start and go shopping - chicken and mushroom risotto I decided on for my date supper and am still in budget as I only needed some chicken.
In 45 mins I've managed to remake my bed, stripped and washed this morning, dust and vac and tidy away carp in my room (stop thinking what your thinking please...ahem). Dusted, vacc'd the floor and sofas in the livingroom and tidied clutter in there too. Hall and front lobby put straight and the heating's on to get this laundry out of the way. Why I picked the wettest day to get 3 washloads on I've no idea, but I'm on a mission this evening.
Just having a cuppa and then I'm going to S&S the kitchen, blitz the bathroom AND the spare room! Pigpen, ta for the Veet suggestion - I think WD40 might be more appropriate..:rotfl:
I'll probably do the ironing tonight too if it's all dried and then see what's left of the energy.
Tatty-bye for now.One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
