I think it's compulsary pigpen, they're all thick as s***.....had to explain to the wifey on Monday that I wanted a letter saying I'd paid in full, well, you'd think I'd asked her to jump off a cliff or murder her husband, thought that it was a standard request  It hasn't arrived yet btw

Not going to be doing much today. I'm worn out and woken up with the start of a flu bug  Actually it started yesterday afternoon with an irritating cough and has now developed into a banging headache, sore throat, coughing and a cold:rolleyes: I'm supposed to be out at a "soiree" tomorrow evening after school and then out tomorrow night with my mates, OH has even booked the afternoon off so he could look after DD and let me get sorted - now it looks like it will end up a wrapped up trip around Aldi/Asda and an early night instead  I'm dosing up major style - I have chicken soup (Cambells Condensed on BOGOF in Co-op ;) ), chocolate (to help with the cough - scientifically proven :D:p ), cold relief capsules, Buttercup syrup for the cough, halls soothers & other throat things to ease my sore throat caused by coughing, and hot toddies using OH's Bells whiskey :rotfl::rotfl: Just don't push me as I'll start rattling and I'm likely to fall over

So my list for today is :
    • Dishes (only cause last nights are still sitting there...then again I might leave them to OH when he gets in :p )
    • Laundry loads - 1 done and about to be put out on the line, and our bedding which I'll do after lunch.
    • Evening meal - I'm going to get some bacon out to defrost and OH and DD can have this egg/bacon thing OH makes
    • Lunches - DD can probably make her own with a little bit of help ;)
I'm also going to review my Asda list - at £130 on a budget of £160 I think I need to take out some of the treats

Now where did I put my cap to keep my head warm while I put the washing out?

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    morning all

not a good night for me, went to bed late, shouldn't sleep so was at my desk between 3 and 5am. hey ho, i got the wedding invite inners done and a couple of work bits.i also emailed my mum with the convo with OH about his bro's wedding and i think it felt good to get it off my chest! i'm just tired today and can't have coffee (migraine trigger for me). listen to me, always moaning!

anyway, i'm going to call my best mate, we keep missing each other but she said she's in this morning, then have a working lunch (via charity shop drop off with the trolley :)) and then i'm meeting another friend at m&s for coffee - so thankfully not too much on and don't have to work tonight! so i just need to get through the day and i will try and fly tonight!

hugs to all who need them...

All I have done today is fed, clothed and dropped littles off to school and preschool. Sat here thinking about things, ok mind is blank just sat here - lol! I did do the bathroom properly on Monday (or was it Tuesday) and the floors were swept and mopped in there again yesterday so just needs a S & S really.

Spoke to Teacher this morning and she said DD1 did not seemed bothered when the story was being read, I explained that she mulls these things over and broods on them. She watched over a weeks worth of scooby doos before she started having the bad dreams about them. Anyway gonna borrow the book and talk through it together, she liked that idea so thanks Pigpen.

I have some stuff I really need to ebay but just cannot be fagged. Will have to get the scales out and weigh everything. Will probably have a go tomorrow as with not do littles rooms as bunk beds being done and general room reshifting booked in for Sunday so will do it them.

I feel cold I need coffee and a big bar of chocolate, or a kick up the bum!

also Rach - i would be peevd too. MIL is always doing stuff like that, buys SIL full length pure wool coat for her birthday, hubby gets £15 in a card. No favorites there then!

Right.. I've paid off.. 2 x credit cards (one is now microwaved and shredded.. the other has the credit limit reduced to £500 for emergencies and mines destroyed) 4 x catalogues (next freemans littlewoods and redoute), 1 storecard (bhs and reduced credit limit to £500), the new boiler AND the old bank loan.. saved a grand total of.. £2048.43 on the totals SO I can afford to pay off... this years council tax, the water bill, utility bills (gas & electric) and most of the student loan saving myself a whopping... £891 a MONTH!!!!!!!

We can have christmas!!!!!!! .. a CAREFUL christmas!! .. I've almost got this month mortgage payment off ebay as well lol.. how sad is that?!
