    Morning all

It's bright but cold out this morning, just having a coffee to warm be back up.

lil_me that was the bed I saw for your DS as well, great minds eh! We went to argos on Monday and ordered new bed for DS, he decided he doesn't like his cabin bed (which he inherited from DD who had it 2nd hand!) so we have gone for this one. Picked up the latest catalogue and was browsing it last night in bed, saw this and thought of you ;) so that's 2 things off the list!

  • Hello! Due to w*** rearrangements, I'm now on a 6-day weekend :T :j  However, I'm sure that pigpen will be making sure that I'm not sat on my b*** drinking tea :o:p

So far I've ironed the Small Penguins' uniform, tidied the kitchen, done internet banking and browsed on here ;)

I have a small e-bay problem (bought 2 items, seller said he'd combine and reduce postage, and despite messaging him he hasn't replied. I'm now happy to pay the lot, but concerned that he's disappeared and I won't see my stuff  ) so need to compose a message to them.

I also need to clean sinks, loos, floors and then bake again.

I have all-butter flapjack for coffee time - anyone want me to save them a piece?

Yes I'll have a piece PP I'm never one to pass on food lol albeit virtual..

The kitchens cleaned! it's all shiny now - just waiting for the floor to dry but I have a funny feeling that may need doing again.

Bedding's in the WM along with my few bits of clothes so only one load today and not two yay! It's sunny and windy so hopefully they'll dry outside on the line.

Gonna tackle the rest of the list now....want to get it finished ASAP cause I want to get in the shower I feel all plastery and icky - yak! but not going in till I've finished cleaning.

Oh and I remembered that I've got to clear out the car today ready for scrap man tomorrow, good job I've got a roll of binbags

Remove clutter - have asked OH to do this as it's his carp! - He's cleared the coffee table, but a lot down the side of sofa to do yet.
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    • Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves

    Morning all

I just got into work, feeling a bit bleary eyed. Sitting drinking a tea with soya milk which tastes ok! I keep feeling coldy in the morning and someone said it might be from having dairy?

Thanks for flea tips Michelle, I had a HUGE bite on my ankle this morning. I think I might have some flea stuff in my flat in Cornwall so will try to bring it up. I'm still finding it grimy living at the place in London, but it is cheap. Also last night she suggested buying a single bed and putting it in the lounge, rather than me having to put the sofabed down all the time. That would be much nicer.

Trying to be good today; have fruit ready for b'fast and some humous and peppers for lunch. Tonight it's all about the essay writing, lil_me are you doing a course as well?

    Here's my list today:

    WORK
[ ] Online tutoring catch up

[ ] Catch up with day job!

    ADMIN / STUDY
[ ] Phone company to see when bed will arrive
[ ] Chase up contracts to get some money!!
[ ] Write uni essay at work tonight

    HOUSEHOLD
[ ] Prepare lunch and breakfast for tomorrow

Oooo red bins, thanks for that one.

AnW'sMum pity you don't live closer, DS2s current bed is just like that and only needs a new base board, it's more because of space I want him a new one. We told him he's getting the smallest room, he dashed off got the Argos book and said 'so I can get this now yes' :rotfl: pointing at his bed he wants.

Well I can't start upstairs until DP is up (I kept him awake snotting and coughing so leaving him for a bit) he's going over to sort his Mam's car out for her before she comes back (promise not to rant too much about that!) but this is what I am thinking for today

    [strike]Contact DS2s & DS1s school and let them know about move[/strike]
[strike]Clean out small cage pet shop loaned me as sonic is now a fatty and can't escape from the other one[/strike]
    [STRIKE]
Return cage and get pets stuff - dog food, crickets, ball for Megan, worms for sonic and lizard
Mooch in charity shops on the same street, see if any nice curtains for DS2s room[/STRIKE] nothing bought
One bag/box packed and [strike]one to fling (think I will do a charity shop one before I go there and drop off today)[/strike] :D
Try to find somewhere better for the boxes, fell in one this morning :o
Bedroom, level 2 ish I think in there aswell as some flinging/packing
See if I can fit in hairdressers appointment, makes me have some me time amid the chaos (thanks for the reminder rach)
[STRIKE]Few bits from shop I need, am loving my GC total so far so not going to mess up now![/STRIKE]

Oh yum flapjack, I might get some syrup today as I have lots of oats to use, flapjacks and hobnobs :D

With ebay Penny, if you're paying via paypal you can just adjust the total where it says seller discounts, update amount and pay that, rather than wait for ammended invoice. Of course if he vanishes you can claim it back via paypal.

MP I started a maths degree this year via OU, sometimes wishing I haddn't, probably been the worst time to start it this year but I suppose if I can manage with this lot going on (all being just) I can do anything :rotfl:

*pokes Michelle's DH** for trying to make her feel guilty, just ignore him and go back when YOU feel ready.
One day I might be more organised...........
